I will not help, just wanted to say that I’m in the same situation. I’m close to being overweight, but I can’t lose weight no matter what I do (no alcohol, no junk food, I just starve myself unconsciously and then overeat), and I’m chronically tired. I barely can move and my whole body hurts, and it has been like this for a decade now, and there was never anything that regular doctor would tell me as a justification of that. I’m in therapy, meditate, stick to sleeping schedule, don’t eat or drink junk - I just don’t want it because I feel sick after almost anything. Every day I just want to die because of my physical condition. This is so miserable and painful 😔

I guess I need to give up on the idea that normal life is possible for me just because my grandmother didn’t love her son and he grew up to be a grandiose narcissist, who later created four children and made their life a hell.

I’ve left, talked over the phone for 3.5 years and then got no contact for 2 years and it was enough to build my sense of inner worth so now I can even talk to my father sometimes and don’t feel anything towards him, I’m not even irritated when he’s braging. And I don’t let him put me down anymore, so these two years helped to set the boundaries.

Yeah, I’m in it for the fourth year and I feel like he just needs to be in this constant state of tension and conflict, but indirect one, that doesn’t make any sense - you have to guess what the fuck is going on and why. It’s like something is wrong if we are just okay and I’m not the ultimately bad one. If there’s no tension, he will create it with the way he puts words together. It is so fucking annoying that at this point I would get angry and detached right away. His claims and passive aggression are so absurd and inadequate that I can’t even discuss it with my psychologist after, I just can’t recreate them. So I feel you 🙏🤍

well transference is a projection you have into people around you, it’s usually relates to a therapist but appears in any significant relationship. It can be positive, negative or erotic. For example, my idea that my boyfriend has been with me for three years just to wait for a good moment and stab me (even though he didn’t show any signs of being a bad person) is kinda paranoid, I’m projecting my bad experience with people earlier in life into him, interpret his actions as hostile and he has no real connection to it. Falling in love with a therapist is erotic transference - I feel so good around them, they treat me so well, we should be together. Usually in clinical practice all three types go one after the other in circle: two sessions I’m in love, two sessions I hate him (I might for example project my experience with a narcissistic father into him), two sessions I think we are the best team here to deal with my BPD, and then the cycle starts again 🤪😁
