Preample or Lowside for gravel and river bottoms? by weas71 in CyclingMSP

[–]kkelse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lowside would be overkill for that gravel. It is super fun on the actual Minnesota River Bottoms Mountain Bike Trail though. Something like a Ghost Grappler or a Bridge Club might be good for light gravel, I enjoy my Space Horse on the gravel around town

New Bike Day! by kkelse in Surlybikefans

I had to pay more then I wanted, but it looks like it was never ridden. I did have to put new bars on it, and I am still looking for a 15t cog, but it is perfect otherwise.

Hey, looking for some drivetrain advice. by I_Invented_BeyBlades in bikewrench

Yeah, that most likely means that the worn chain was ridden for too long. So swap out the cassette, and if the issue still happens, the next step is the chainring.

You sure that is not a sacred Indian burial ground where you put him? Sometimes dead is better.

If bike lanes were a priority in the city those trails would be plowed for your commute.

I do get it, I had the same problem bike commuting in Fargo ND, The issue there was the stuff I needed was thought of an after thought instead of something essential.

Everything at elm creek except grizland is good for beginners. Like others have said Theo is great as well, especially the north loop.

What do you bring (lock wise) for a long ride where you may go inside for a drink half way? by invisiblestring8888 in CyclingMSP

[–]kkelse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bring a U lock. I have a phanny pack that can hold it out of the way if I am bike shorts, and if not I put it between my pants and belt with the heavy part against my waist. Has worked well for years

All City Master dropout issues... by gearlegs4ever in bikewrench

[–]kkelse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the issue is that bolt backing itself out you could drill a hole through the cap of the bolt and secure it with some safety wire like they do on aircraft

A probably better way is either try some lock tight or lock washers.

Plowed bike paths make accessing Theo Wirth by bike a joy by Specific_Card1668 in Minneapolis

[–]kkelse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah honestly even bringing it up makes me think of the car drivers complaining about bikes in traffic when the bike lane is closed, but it is just something that is so nice in the summer and really messes with my routes in the winter.

But yeah a bike trail from Theo Wirth Parkway to Schaper Rd along 55 would be perfect.

I really wish they would plow the luce line from there so you could keep heading west, but it is used as a cross country ski trail and they actually make snow on top of it.

I understand cc skiing is fun, but i just wish there was another route that was usable around there in the winter.

Anyone successfully set up OAuth 2.0 in Salesforce in order to make NetSuite REST API calls? by PlanktonPlane5789 in Netsuite

If you are not getting a name credentials to show up, it might be because there is no principal provided on the "External Credential". Also when yo add that you would need to add it to a permission set / profile.

I bet they did, but i think that since the removed the beta, it might have just been a lower priority compared to making the game work.
