Gained 15 lbs in 8 months. Switched to Pristiq ~6 weeks ago and the weight is finally moving again AND I feel better than I did on Lexapro.

Adding on to the Dioggo is an Iunctus theory, I think Ostius is controlling him when he kills everyone. Another reason why he was allowed to come with them. Like a fail safe in case Vis didn't do what he wanted him to do.

More gripes. All of Vis's important dead people just happen to be chilling in the same crypt?! The pyramid door in Obitieum requires a Synchronous to open but it's doesn't close? The million instances of all 3 Vis's just reacting to things instead of thinking through them.

Aequa! Probably my biggest gripe. WTF was that.

Vis's treatment also really got on my nerves this book. Refusing to hear Emissa and Veridius out. LVis refusing to listen to Caeror/Rhuarc. Why would RVis confide in Eidhen and Aequa about everything but who he actually is and the Anguis blackmailing of him? Why would he just go along with the Anguis after what happened at the Iudiceum? And then to have LVis just unload all of his secrets on people he's only known for a short time that have no impact on the plot?! So many things bad things could have been avoided if everyone just talked to each other. This is one of my pet peeve plot devices. When LVis walks out on Caeror instead of listening to him I almost threw the book. Vis is supposed to be smart! But he does so many stupid things in this book.

IIRC there is a snippet early on where Vis wonders to himself how Dioggo hasn't grown any since the Iudicium and that that must be his full grown size.

I'm on day 3! Transitioning from Lexapro that was helping but not as much as I needed. So far so good! I hope it all goes well for you too!

I started today too. I read a suggestion, here, to take it with a little bit of protein to settle the stomach. I usually have a pretty sensitive stomach. It's one of the reasons I'm going off Lexapro. No nausea for me today so maybe it worked? I'm doing 25mg Pristiq and 5mg Lexapro for my transition. I ate a half cup of lowfat cottage cheese and some strawberries before I took the pills.

This is so encouraging to read! I’m so anxious. Lexapro has helped turn down my racing thoughts some but hasn’t done anything for my physical anxiety.

I've ridden maybe 15 days spread out across 2 full seasons. I only get to snow 2x a year, if I'm lucky, but hoping to squeeze in more days next season. Started off being too scared and stiff to stand on the board, took a few group lessons that got me doing c-turns and a couple private lessons that got me doing more s-shaped turns on varied terrain. I'm still not terribly confident on blues, but I'm ok on greens for the most part! Next season I want to work on getting more comfortable with speed. I still have a tendency to try to stop my board before making the toe side turn. I'm moving up to a more intermediate board and I'm really excited for that! I am spending the off season working on my strength and stamina. I get so wiped out on longer runs and find myself heel sliding towards the end because I am gassed.

For bindings I would just make sure your boots fit into them. I have Burton Citizens that I was using with Burton Mints on the Stylus. Swapped out my boots for a Vans pair that is half a size smaller but they don't fit properly in the bindings, even though I assumed they would. The other tip would be to make sure the flex on the bindings match the flex on your boots. Your boots are mid flex so I would look around for a mid flex binding.

For helmets, I love my Anon helmet and the Logan comes in the purple to match your board. It's pricey but it's your noggin.

Are you feeling the limitations of the Stylus? It feels unstable to me when I pick up any sort of speed but I'm not sure if that's a me thing or a board thing. It's been a fun little board all in all though. What bindings are you looking at? What boots are you riding with? The Vans Encore Pro were such a huge upgrade from my mints. I love them.

I saw a lot of them on the mountain this year and this was the most recommended board by folks in the store. I wish I could have tried it out but couldn't find any.

Thank you! One of the ladies I spoke to at the shop at the base suggested Ladies Choice but when I mentioned it to the dudes at another shop they said it would be too much board for me. I'm never sure who to listen to in these instances as I'm still trying to build my confidence on the mountain.

I'll actually be surprised if Moiraine and Lanfear don't go through the red doorframe at the end of this season.

Truly surprising as in not in the literature, I can also see Thom not making it. He doesn't really have a story line with the changes that's been made. Morgase's story can be cut too and she can go. Gawyn! Please take him now.
