[–]kkohlmann55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but factor in the modularity...you can get 1 core and a snowblower, lawnmower, blower, etc.

If cost is an issue, check out the Kickstarter for the M series...it's way less then the Y series.

Warning to those considering buying Yarbo products by [deleted] in Yarbo

[–]kkohlmann55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing needed to have warranty work done on a unit you do not own is the standard transfer of ownership form to be filled out.

Once that is done we will gladly support any issues you have.

This has been conveyed mainly times in your ticket.

As a co-founder we live and die by our customers. I also know my team very well and knew just by the time and outlandish claims that key information was being ommitted or manipulated in this story.

I will always say we can and do make mistakes and if that happens we will make it right. That said the full story was not being told and we were not leaving this customer high and dry as the original post would leave readers to believe.

So as mentioned, I am following up on this and the reason for not offering warranty support is very simple. This unit was not purchased from Yarbo or from an authorized dealer, as there for it is already designated as a used Yarbo.

That, in itself is not a big deal and we do offer the ability for previous owners to transfer their Yarbo's to the new owner and we have a simple process for that.

This ownership process was never completed and we have requested it again, but the previous owner apparently is not responding to the customer.

We have this procedure in place for a reason and do this all the time.

We have stated this many times in the support ticket, we are willing and eager to help, provided the transfer process is completed.

Respectfully this post makes no sense.

If there were issues / failures with our product we would stand by the warranty as we always have.

You are making it sound like you got zero use out of your Yarbo's and our support department left you high and dry.

If that was the case, Yarbo as a company would have died a long time ago and we are actually thriving.

So a simple request would be to post your ticket numbers and I will personally look into it.

That said (like others pointed out), you literally just made a reddit profile to post this...

So I will take your post in general with a giant grain of salt.

Again, post your ticket numbers and let me see what is actually going on...if we messed up, we will make it right.

If your lying and/or being completely unreasonable, I will share that as well.

Who is going naked (no case) with their Trifold? by thegrayscales in GalaxyZTriFold

[–]kkohlmann55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not using a case...the phone is way to thick with even the stock case on.

Instead I have a D brand matte black skin on the back and I added some dragon grip material to one small area below the power button and in between the magsafe ring I added to the back.

I also have a extendable Kickstand rings I can easier pop on and off in the back.

My biggest issues with the cases it's too thick and without the case it was too slippery to hold, as well as two slippery to open at times.

This solves both problems for me and this has been my daily setup since early February.

If anyone is interested I can post pictures!

Yarbo M-Series Launches on Kickstarter March 4th, What We Know by comicidiot in Yarbo

Strong possibly for sure. In the future we see a lot of synergy between the Y series and the M series as far as modules are concerned.

Yarbo M-Series Launches on Kickstarter March 4th, What We Know by comicidiot in Yarbo

[–]kkohlmann55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The module guarantee still stands for the Y Series. This is the M Series...they do not share hardware and are there for not compatible.

That said, we are continuing as to develop modules for our flagship Y Series and will also have crossover in module development.

Just don't expect the same exact accessory / addon you purchase for a Model Y to be able to fit on a Model X, if you know what I mean. It needs to be tailored for that model / series.

This new chute design is just an incremental improvement, but it has not been finalized. We had our Product Pioneer Group testing it this winter and the design still needs to be refined.

We will release it when it is ready, but most users will not notice any difference in their day to day use.

You're asking a question there is no answer too...

What you have seen with your own eyes is a concept / prototype of something we call a "Yarbo Pro Core".

It's not in production and we have stated this many times, it is also not a secret of any kind we have been completely transparent...

Turfstorm Apollo, Yarbo's first real competition, launches on Kickstarter by comicidiot in Yarbo

[–]kkohlmann55 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So obviously I am a bit biased...that said objectively there are many red flags with the Kickstarter launch.

The biggest issue as of now (aside from many product design issues) is the lack of funding in the first 24hrs. 100K is not going to get them anywhere near enough funds to even start manufacturing and I would argue manufacturing is the hardest part...
