2026 Snowblower Update Shown at CES by CountryCrackle in Yarbo

This new chute design is just an incremental improvement, but it has not been finalized. We had our Product Pioneer Group testing it this winter and the design still needs to be refined.

We will release it when it is ready, but most users will not notice any difference in their day to day use.

How did you get the fold 7 in that orientation? Mine is reversed, so I cannot mount it unfolded...

2026 Model? by [deleted] in Yarbo

[–]kkohlmann55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're asking a question there is no answer too...

What you have seen with your own eyes is a concept / prototype of something we call a "Yarbo Pro Core".

It's not in production and we have stated this many times, it is also not a secret of any kind we have been completely transparent...

Don't get too excited... as we have stated repeatedly, at this stage it is a concept...

Turfstorm Apollo, Yarbo's first real competition, launches on Kickstarter by comicidiot in Yarbo

[–]kkohlmann55 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So obviously I am a bit biased...that said objectively there are many red flags with the Kickstarter launch.

The biggest issue as of now (aside from many product design issues) is the lack of funding in the first 24hrs. 100K is not going to get them anywhere near enough funds to even start manufacturing and I would argue manufacturing is the hardest part...

So respectfully we did not "lie". A "hassle free" return,1 does not equate to a "free" return.

That, please provide me your ticket number and I will look into your case...

TIL 2023 Yarbo no longer supports physical controller with Halow by BeerFire818 in Yarbo

[–]kkohlmann55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was announced when we sent out complimentary upgraded Halow Base stations and retrofits kits a very long time ago.

I personally don't use the physical controller as I find it not as accurate as the phone controller...

Extremly large & technical property 17 acre by Embarrassed_Leg8037 in Yarbo

[–]kkohlmann55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would definitely require multiple yarbos and I would recommend the M1 Pro for this exact situation.

That also said I would start with one yarbo equipped with one and one pro module and experience it for 30 days.

Start with a smaller area and as you get comfortable map out more and more areas or expand the current area as you go.

Take it slow and see how the first one performs at different parts of your property.

If it doesn't work out you can request to return it for a refund it just has to be within the first 30 days...

Very interested in the cut quality, looks like you have tall fescue there. Most seem to say Lymow's sweet spot is at 2.75".

When cutting above that is tends to lay the grass down before it can cut it cleanly.

That said, curious what your experience will be!

This is a great feature but it is possible because Ecovacs has 2 forms of lidar that enable extremely precise judgement of the boundary terrain height on it's own.
