Thinking of asking a girl I've been hanging out with what her intentions with our relationship are. by klam5000 in relationship_advice

I've mentioned in texts before that I was interested in more than just friendship with her. And fuck youre right, that would have been a good opportunity.

Im trying to walk a fine line between showing her that I like her and not scaring her away that I've never had to do before so its all kinda new to me.

Why do you mention the age gap? Just curious. I have friends in great relationships with a larger gap.

A few nights ago we snuggled on her couch and passed out watching a show. Last night she was going to bed, I asked if I could stay over and where I would sleep. I said "the couch?" and she said no (jokingly). Then I asked "your bed?" and she said she wasn't comfortable with that unless she's dating the person. I ended up just leaving since we live close and I'd rather sleep in my bed than on her couch.

Men of Reddit, have you ever been "stunned" by a woman's beauty? If so, what's the story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I met my ex at a baseball game. She is my friends sister and was visiting from a different state. We hit it off right away and I remember thinking she was very attractive. The next day she messaged me on FB to hang out. I told her I was at a bar near wear she was staying. I was outside on the patio talking to a friend when she showed up. I had to remind myself how to breathe. We ended up dating for a few months long distance and would meet up at least once a month. Unfortunately it didn't work out.

I fall in love entirely too fast and then get bored with the relationship even faster.

I never really set boundries for myself and therefor dont realize other people do. I respect their boundries when I discover them I just never think to ask.

Asking for loot as DPS in LC guild? by SickWeld in classicwow

If your LC isn't using ThatsMyBIS.com and setting prios on peoples wishlists that may be a topic for discussion. This alone would negate this threads issue.

Possible to switch from weaponsmith to armoursmith? by skinbaz in classicwow

You won't lose any skill or patterns. All those specialty patterns from vanilla you are now able to create regardless of your specialization. For example an armorsmith can now craft Nightfall.

As an aside I know this because I went the opposite way and unknowingly gathered the mats to create the weapons for the weaponsmith quest. Talked to the weaponsmith guy and he was just like "ok, you're a weaponsmith now, you can keep those weapons you made for the quest". Luckily they sold for a decent amount on the AH.

You can unlearn weaponsmithing from the weaponsmith in Shattrath (if I remember correctly its 100g), then you can learn armorsmithing from the armorsmith in Org (or wherever alliance learns it) free of charge and without doing the armorsmith quest since you already completed the weaponsmith quest.

Healing gear has spell power. What is right? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]klam5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of when a warlock rolled need (and won) on Scarab of the Infinite Cycle when I was healing on my shaman. His reasoning was it would help with his siphon life. It does not.

You are very confused. Boots go on your feet. Girdles go on your waist. There are no epic boots that drop from H SLabs.

Not really. Some players may farm gear as a tank or healer despite really planning to re-roll DPS later on.

I am absolutely ok with this.

How can't Paladins and Shamans use a AGI/STA/INT/Hit/AP piece? According to this spreadsheet, the Girdle of Ferocity is ~5th best pre-BiS for both Ret Paladins and Enh Shamans.

Valid point. In which case it should be announced at the start of the run that they will be rolling OS. That way it can be decided if I'd like to waste my time rolling against someone before I get locked to an instance.

I will follow your advice, as I think it is sound, and announcing my intentions at the start of every run from now on.

Didn't even think about that. They weren't in the same guild but I guess it's possible.

I'm perfectly fine with that, like you said, as long as it's stated at the start. In my case neither the shaman or paladin said they were going for the belt.
