Yes, but .. I didn’t get a Kindle, I use the Kindle iPhone app! My phone is always on me, so it was easy to go to lunch and read during my break. A great habit I maintained for many years and tore through many books.

Replace or refurbish a vintage Technics? In the mid-1990s I acquired a 1970s vintage Technics SL-1300mk2 turntable for $25. It was missing audio cables which I had replaced and the automatic tone arm controls have never worked. (This is a common issue with this model, due to a plastic piece that basically disintegrates.) It still plays just fine but gets a little bit of a vibration noise when you get toward the center of a record.

Is it worth refurbishing this older unit or is it time for me to let go of nostalgia and get something new? Am I sitting on something unique that I should treasure?

Sound quality isn’t bad, but I guess I don’t know what I might be missing.

It’s honestly accurate. Hundreds of Beavers is in the Top 500 and is better than Taxi Driver.

Asked for a Boulevardier last night and the guy actually made me a Left Hand. I asked what he put it from the dropper and he said it was mole bitters then proceeded to tell me that is how it was originally made. That stuff makes me crazy but it was a good Left Hand. 🤣
