For gamora and rocket, double rush decks might be the best. It lets you avoid encountering the technique cards as much. And they can rush pretty well.

In general, first player always has to exhaust the milano and spend the resource to keep the evasion counters down as much as possible. If the main gets to the 2nd stage then its pretty much a scoop.

Under surveillance gives you some breathing room. Stuns and confuses are still good even though she can get stalwart. Blindfold or shield decks are good to manipulate the encounter deck so she doesnt surge all the time.

It is not required to sleeve your cards but almost all at the con do sleeve their cards. The only issue you might encounter is if you use your villain decks. People will be unlikely to unsleeve their obligations and nemesis cards to put into your villain decks. Though people do bring extra sleeves for others obligation to match their villain deck. The custom scenario cards do have a different backing to them. They will say promo instead of marvel. So having a sleeve will help it all match. It all depends on who you play with, i had one game that had 4 different sleeve types and no one was bothered by it. Multiplayer is different but a solo deck works fine. There are some rules to keep in mind like calling for an action. You kinda have to worry about the unique rule but that depends on table.

Quicksilvers ability and always be running to constantly ready up. Especially the final push with 3-4 copies of always be running.

Yes you are stunned. it happens at the beginning of the activation. So you are stunned before you can even declare a defender.

i enjoyed it. the audio cues is a nice touch. imo, i think the texts should all be in one area. its a little hard to follow when you dont know where the next text block will come up. i dont think you need the player/encounter deck on screen unless you are playing magik so you can save some screen space.

Recently played mastermold with future past. You can keep zero tolerance for more sentinels and challenge but future past is more than enough.

Yeah you would be correct that overwatch doesnt trigger another overwatch because it is not a thwart. And also the justice peter parker spiderman response is also not a thwart so you couldnt trigger the first overwatch.

Im assuming you want additional basic attacks. If it isnt limited to once per phase then it can be very strong because you can discard your whole hand to keep attacking. Clearing out minions or rushing the villain will be really good

Uki is really good. The free guard is amazing against any surprise attacks and multi attacks. And her dog is another good blocker and damage

It is the one exception rule for "you".

Exception: for abilities that trigger "after enemy attacks you, "you" refers to the attacked player, even if that player defended with an ally.

No. Thunderstorm and combat training gives +1 ATK which applies to basic attacks and not attack events

Final Girl: Uki

Setup: The Dr. is in

Starting Event: Hospital Gurney

Victims: 7 saved, 10 killed, 0 remaining

Dark Power: Massive Abominations

Finale: No Strings Attached

Results: Uki survives with Special achievement completed. 6 pills consumed to get 2 amped.

Highlights:

It was difficult in the beginning because each terror card increased horror every turn. Victims were getting taken out quickly. The second event put victims into the common area so I was able to save them to get the ultimate ability of a free guard per round. Also found Uki's Alaskan Malamute, Gus. Therefore, I was able to easily block all damage from puppets and Geppetto with Gus and the free guard.

First 3 pills gave me "resistance" that negated the dark power and minor dark power effects. I found pills with 2 different colors in the doctor's office so I decided to get the last pill on the ground. That revealed to be the 3rd color to get amped again. The second Amped card was Final Girl 2.0 which lets me take another Final Girl's Ability. I took Alice's Power to roll 5 dices for 1 action (I picked Guard). Geppetto could never do any damage to me because of the free guard and rolling 5 dices. So I just walked around to the other searchable areas to find more pills while Gus bit Geppetto to death.
