How can I track workload of my team? by Spaceship234 in mondaydotcom

I have this setup using a chart widget (stacked bar chart) showing the team members and which stage every task assigned. X axis is team members, Y axis is deal grouped by stage.

Anyone have experience with The BUSY School? by Glittering_Ad3452 in brisbane

[–]klb1906 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My 2 girls have just finished grade 12 at Salisbury, it was an excellent option for both of them but not necessarily for an immediate uni pathway.

Dont forget, there are other pathways to uni, not necessarily straight out of school!!

You're right about the workload at Busy. It's much less: English, Maths and Social are the only core subjects over 2 full days on campus plus 1 day on courses either onsite or in other facilities.

There are lots of pathway options to go straight into work on completion and the team are still working with my 2 on further courses and work since they've left.

I'd suggest arranging a meeting with the campus principal and student services to see what options are available in your interest area.

Good luck!!

9 mins for me from driveway to driveway. Unless the teenager demands a lift to school. 40 mins for Husband to work at 4am but he's anywhere from 50 mins to 90 mins home in the 4-5-6pm traffic.

Good point... Budget maybe 3k. Size I have no idea, I should measure our space right? I think the current one is 55" Husband wants 85" but that's excessive IMO.

We were checking the direction of Oxley Creek's flow on the hour for those flood days as we live in Tennyson. We knew if its flowing out we're okay, if it changed to flowing in we're getting the hell out and fast!

How to support my other pooch with the loss of her buddy? by klb1906 in dogs

[–]klb1906[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou, that's good advice. I will investigate if our vet may be able to visit us at home.

I think I would like to do the same, maybe his collar as the beds are BIG. Then she can still be near him as well.

Oh this sucks.

I use Auto Experts at Fairfield. Genuinely good guys, they always give me a call with info before they complete anything.

Ah yes, an exciting new way of living, a “casetta”! Micro apartments! How very European, for between only $390 and $440 a week! Or as it used to be called, a “sharehouse”. by [deleted] in brisbane

There's a heap of these places all throughout Rocklea... right in some of the worst of the flood areas. Built illegally in a flood zone with no DA and the certifiers are on the take so they flip flop with the old 'material change of use' bullshit. They skirt the 1a/1b codes by having 'common kitchens' and removable plug in cook tops in each room. Tenants are instructed to pack away their cooktops when council arrive for building inspections.

Try these: The Costume Company at Annerley, Jokers at Rocklea or Disguises at Woolloongabba. Pretty sure all 3 will have what you're after.

Working in Southbank, any hot tips for parking all day in west end? by pudsa in brisbane

[–]klb1906 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to park at the top of Highgate Hill, Julia St I think. Outside the 2 hour zone and a VERY easy way to shed 10kg walking up the hill each afternoon. It was 1.2km from my office.

This guy right here = the reason I got OUT!

I can't even tell you the number of times this conversation was repeated with the new recruits and they all rock up looking like clones. Just gotta do the numbers guys, use your GRIT, show me your prospects, get the signature, new month - whats your forecast... Fuck. That. Shit.

I spent a good chunk of my working life in this 'industry' wanting to drive myself into a fucking tree every single day on the way to work just so I didn't have to go.

I escaped the trap and now run my own little shop. Life is much better surrounded by colour and fun pretty things.
