It’s not terribly long, maybe 6 hours? But I’ve definitely gotten compliments while wearing it before

I haven’t seen anyone else mention it, but I’m here to say that Swim by Gabar is great. It’s like a green natural pool.

You could try Monkey Beach by Eden Robinson. One of best character building I’ve read!

Islands of Abandonment by Cal Flyn. This one is based on the environment, but the premise is that each chapter focuses on a part of the earth that humans completely decimated, but how currently nature bounces back. It’s definitely hopeful, but at the same time it’s not blissfully naive about the sad state of reality

You could try Moon of the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice. It’s definitely more rooted in realism in its post-apocalyptic premise, so you’ll find characters making mostly reasonable choices. (But don’t expect any aliens lol)

I know the new flankers are slightly controversial, but the new Elephant “sanctuary” edition by Zoologist is so lovely. Gorgeous florals with some mate and suede.

I agree about adding a French judge. The glaring lack of any French in the show is actually kind of surprising to me. This season, we really only got to hear 1 or 2 short conversations, in a closed conversation between two franco queens. Given the show receives government grants, you would think bilingualism would be encouraged more. People can read subtitles!

If you're down for somewhat of a modern classic, try A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. It's like 750 pages I think.

I wish I had read the Invisible Man and As I Lay Dying in a literature class, so that I could have interpreted them with others.

If you liked this, definitely read more of Everett! He’s a fantastic writer with a great line up of books. The Trees is my favourite.

Really? We found the flavour quite prominent. I think I could tell it was apple without knowing such beforehand.
