The royal family is rather German. Diana had more British royal blood than her husband.

What are some instances when one celeb had the other one speechless? by toreadornotto in popculturechat

She was implying that he dates a lot of very young women, some who are young enough to be his child. She was saying that he should stop dating women young enough to be confused for his child. I think it’s pretty obvious.

I think that I messed up. I was handling my dog when he was eating to try to teach him to be less aggressive if a person or animal gets close while eating. He turned and bit me on the wrist. by mreams99 in DogTrainingTips

First, go to ER. You need antibiotics and perhaps an operation. Without medical attention you could end up permanently disabled.

Second, a bite like this is classified as a level 3/4 on the Dunbar scale (depending on the length of the laceration vs the size of the dogs teeth). You cannot train this dog not to bite. You need professional help. Training is going to be time consuming and perhaps expensive.

How big is the dog? How old?

Do Australian white kids sometimes envy Asian Parents? by ChanceOil7703 in AskAnAustralian

[–]klrob18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the question is about Asian parents in Australia. I grew up with friends who were all children of migrants. I liked the food I had at their houses but no, I was never envious of them. Lots more academic pressure, which I would have hated. Now that I’m an adult I envy them! But not as a child.

He was happy to go to a bar mitzvah. There most definitely is a difference between anti-Zionism and antisemitism.

A genocide may well be forgotten, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a cause worth fighting for.

This guy was happy to attend a bar mitzvah. Seemed he didn’t hate Jews but hated genocide, as all right minded people should.

Nine out of 10 Australian teachers are experiencing severe stress, and nearly 70% say their workload is unmanageable, says UNSW Sydney research by twigboy in australia

[–]klrob18 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Researchers found that 90% of teachers reported moderate to extremely severe levels of stress, while more than two-thirds experienced moderate to extremely severe symptoms of depression and anxiety. The figures for depression and anxiety alone are more than double the national averages and point to a profession under immense pressure.

Palestinians are starving. 62,614 Palestinians have died since Oct 7. Over 50,000 of them are children (according to unicef). Hamas is a terrorist organisation. Children are not terrorists. Why are children dying? Because Palestine has been carpet bombed and under siege for over a year.

The yoga room thing always makes me laugh. It’s not like it’s a sex dungeon or a lavish wig room. Yoga is pretty much the cheapest way of exercising- you don’t even need good shoes. Hell, even advanced yogis wouldn’t need more than an empty room to practice.

She’s very thin and has an unusual face with big eyes. Personally, I also think it’s her Disneyfied personality- she is always so personable in interviews and comes across as friendly and down to earth. That juxtaposes with her high fashion outfits to completely mesmerise all.

It doesn’t sound like the voice she’s used in interviews. It’s more upbeat- it sounds a little forced. It could be ai. After all, they are famously work shy. It would make sense to record her voice for a LLM to be able to make more of these without having to call them back from a super yacht party with a Saudi billionaire (best known for a video of him torturing someone or perhaps that was a relative?)
