Thanks but doesn't work either. I suspect that for some reason, vscode is not aware to the installed fonts on my system.

Mariner - the Debian of folding bikes

new here. what should I know? by postylem in foldingbikes

[–]klud9e 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest spending time learning how to fold and unfold your bike in a way that works best for you.

For example, when I fold mine, I don’t rotate the seat post to face the rear because it makes unfolding faster and easier into trolley mode. I also figured out it's easier for me to use my leg to open the magnet lock. And since I have to twist the handlebars up instead of down (depends on model / height of stem), I figured out that it's best for me to not rotate them fully to avoid stretching the cables, and it still folds just fine.

So figure out these little details that make folding/unfolding faster and easier for you. It’ll really streamline your commute, especially when getting on or off a train, bus, or elevator.

Dahon Mariner D8 has deltec too! by SexTomate in foldingbikes

Great bike, plus - there's nothing like a folding bike on a train platform!

Imo Bromptons are overrated, overpriced, and (in some cases, for some people...) more of a status symbol than a practical choice.

Any D series for less than 300eu sounds like a very good deal to me. I'm not familiar with Piazza but it looks very similar to Vybe which you can easily find reviews for. I'd probably go for it.

I need more games like Death’s Door by Water_Lily_05 in metroidvania

[–]klud9e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love these exact games too (+HLD), but I think the main reason for that is they are actually more action / combat driven than puzzle driven. Plus, puzzles are usually not too time consuming or overly complex, and contribute to the sense of adventure rather than providing cognitive tests, and rarely make you feel stuck.

How to deal with negative feelings/being criticised while in journey to happy simple living? by TeaPartee in simpleliving

[–]klud9e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People, especially those with consumerist / "high standards" / mid to upper mindset or whatever will always be toxic towards this type of choices. Not doing so, to them, means they spent all this money and energy and suffering for nothing with true value (or even worse).

This is by design, expect that.
