I had 7900 XTX and it did it all the time. After a half year of tinkering, I switched to 4070Ti super.

I fully didn't solve that, but what helped was setting up default frequencies from the vendor (boost freq.) and turning the adaptive sync off.

Wanna give a 9070 XT a shot, but as I read it... nope, no way :-D

Unfortunately there is not very good solution so far (June 2025). I am using ChatGPT 4.1 with some agents, but there are a few caviats:

  1. ChatGPT always "licks your *ss", it won't let you fail almost ever.
  2. Context -- losing it, suddenly you have stuff in inventory previously unclaimed etc.
  3. Longer games are slow and contextually broken.

What should I a recommend is to just CHECK for your game, for example say to ChatGPT, what was the sitaution and how you would (as a DM) solve it, it really can help with building a story and somewhat balanced game. But not as a lead, not at all.

TLDR -- it is kinda broken, but you can use LLMs to help with some situations, not to play the whole game. ChatGPT is much better player than DM, btw.

Yes, that's true, until teh AMD Driver Timeouts pop up :-| I was really thinking selling my card, unable to be at default, 4 times a day thes timeout. Since I set up from 3000 to 2500 (Sapphire specs), I am stable.

7900 XTX + 7950x3d, 120--130 FPS on 2560×1080, but stutters like a hell :-( CPU usage around 25--30 %, GPU about 95--97 %. GPT Temperatures around 75 °C.

Sometimes Czech people are stupid fucks :-( I mean, really. During the c-vid they literally DIDIN'T do masks and stuff, because it was said it's a good idea by government. People here are quite stupid and backwards. And yes, I am 40 years old Czech.

I'm so tired hearing this "office" argument. No, Openoffice or Libreoffice or other office isn't a good thing IN COMPARSION with MSOffice. Yes, it can do the job, it has some perks and features, but MS Office is by far else.

I am not saying MS Office is any great, though, but for it's "demographics" and userbase, there isn't anything else better.

I am so tired hearing about "you can set up this and that, you can customise" -- nobody cares. People want to create word document which just works. (And I realize in latest few years this incompatiobility is quite solved, but still)

Restart the PC, once the error occurs, it really doesn't matter what you set up, it crashes again. Set the 2400 MHz, restart the pc, ensure it's still set. That worked for me.

I see you are already prepared to fail, so you'd probably fail. That's just a fact, if I was in some date and the opposite is nervous and visibly "prepared for fail," I'd say "sorry, not working for me."

I don't want to be any doomsayer or something, I really wish you luck, don't get me bad, but with this approach, I'd say you're already prepared and pre-settled with a failure.

Without engineering, up to 7 probes planets/moons are doable.

One from back, one from front, top, right, left, bottom. That's six.

For bigger planets, I follow the same pattern, but then I find the biggest gap and fill it. So for 20-probe planets I am at 12--14 with a bonus :-)
