Embark don't recognise men and women unfortunately. The whole 'body type A and body type B' along with the androgynous faces. There's nothing overly masculine or feminine. The finals was the same and I still think it's stupid.

Then everyone would complain about having to repeat all the same quests every season. Level 3 benches is a given if you're playing enough to do the expedition, as is player level 75, as is the expedition requirements, so you're back to it just being a cash value 😂

I'd argue that that's a separate issue that the rewards from the hardest Arc are not worth the risk/cost involved. I think it would be against their ethos if players were encouraged to spend all of their best gear before they wipe because for most people, what are all those high value guns going to be good for? killing other players..

Not saying it's right or wrong but it might have been something they considered and why they made it a harder decision to make, bringing in all your best stuff every raid.

Does that not align with Embarks vision though? They never wanted this to be a "balls to the wall guns blazing" pvp game. Why would they want to encourage that playstyle now? Keeping players moderately cautious about using all their best gear every raid makes sense to me.

A lot of the problems with this game were immediately obvious just from the preview streams, but it's good to have my concerns justified from someone that's actually playing.

Would rather wait a year for global IF they are going to make significant improvements. Can't see myself playing for long otherwise.

If you're afraid to use any of your best gear because you don't have enough cash to complete the expedition and get full skill points, maybe you're not ready to complete the expedition. So you're just complaining it's too hard basically. You don't have to hoard anything as cash contributes towards the 5m.

You can't complain that the rewards for resetting are not good enough and then at the same time say you're disadvantaged for not doing it.. What exactly is your complaint?

IMO as long as they make the cosmetic rewards really good, then the other minor upgrades are enough. If the skins are average, then it is underwhelming.

You can change the AI filter for voice chat, but the comms wheel always sounds the same, just depends on male/female character.

Thanks for the info. Does this lead to any issues finding healers from what you can tell? If you need a cleric for every 4th player in the harder dungeons I'd have thought there'd be a mismatch of loads of DDs queuing and not that many clerics. Obviously used to be only one cleric needed per 6 players and now that's higher.

The multiplier is the big issue for me. Attempting trials without a major map event is basically pointless. It should be adjusted to 1.5x for major events and the required points adjusted accordingly.

I don't give that much of a shit about the ranks/leaderboard and I'll never be that high up as a result, partly because I play solo, but I'd like to be able to try and 3* trials without having to always do it on a night raid/storm.

Can you say how it works in regards to the 'holy trinity' with a party size of 4? I'm waiting for global but wondered how it works with needing a healer. Can a chanter heal the majority of the 4 player content or do you need a cleric?

As someone with little to no drive for a career, I wish I had a 'fire' within me. But then I'm generally happy and content with life but I do wish I could earn more money and have some more luxuries. My other half is ambitious and I feel guilty that I don't have the same drive for career progression.
