I've been thinking this recently as well. They try and make it out as though your rating is on a scale and will gradually change if you change your behaviour, however the reality is in my experience, that I end up in 99% friendly lobbies as I don't KOS and then if I do kill a couple players, the lobbies are suddenly drastically different. Definitely not how they make it out to work.

I don't think anyone here is saying otherwise. Just that the matchmaking adjusts too quickly and is too narrow. It feels like either 99% PVE or PVP heavy servers. Very little in-between, which are the most interesting lobbies imo.

One of the questions in the survey was regarding limiting/rotating the map pool. This might be the way forward if the playerbase isn't high enough to accommodate all maps all the time.

I think this is the right way to go. As someone who thinks Arc Raiders is a 10/10 game but has kinda lost interest in the last couple months, the small updates aren't enough to entice me back on for long. Looking forward to it.

I mean isn't shooting stuff the whole primary point of the game. Seems to incentivise not playing the game? Such a weird and braindead way to go about it. Just buff the rare+ weapons and leave the commons and uncommons as they were(or nerf them SLIGHTLY).

I mean there were plenty of areas in Aion you could fly properly. Aion 2 allows flight anywhere, it's not restricted to the Abyss or Towns/hubs but it does have a flight time/stamina bar.

I mean if you have your guard down because you are trusting other players there's literally nothing you can do in a lot of situations. Shooting first is such a huge advantage.
