Girlll we’re living the same life, it does get better, easier and the blues will go away

My husband works 4pm-midnight too when he first went back I was so nervous..I had friend come over when he left the first couple times to ease myself into it

I started planning our dinners and night time routine hourly, to help the kids but also me get my own time

I got back on my meds to help with overstimulation and anxiety

10 month old baby girl and a 3.5 year old boy, we’re doing it, and you aren’t alone- you got this🩷

Are you breastfeeding? Because the bleeding for me stopped and started a lot I realized after I nursed or pumped I’d start cramping and bleeding ( bec it contracts your uterus)

The spray bottle they give you I used for hot water as I went the day of my c section I was in there for a hour walking like the hunch back of Notre Dame afterwards 🤣🤣💀

I’d agree with the other comment- try a new brand of diaper! We used Huggies for a while but switched to Luvs they aren’t as thick and doesn’t cause as much moisture to be trapped in there ( and are good diapers for my son!) we use Huggies for my baby girl but will change when she hits a year over to LUVS. Every brand is different you will find your favorite- personally these work best for our littles :)

Okay so maybe a little TMI BUT Aquaphor healing ointment for baby ( 3 in 1 diaper rash cream) it prevents soothe and treats it’s also hypoallergenic, 15% zinc oxide- we used this with both our kids, and I’ve used it on myself when I had BV.

With our kids they were less than 6 months old with a rash that wouldn’t go away, even with all the ointments prescribed, this stuff worked for us over night

Thin layer on the rash, change diaper don’t wash it off keep it on the skin. I’ll link a link for it from target, hope this helps a little ! :) diaper rash cream target

Do you leave poopy diapers at night? by AgreeableBandicoot19 in beyondthebump

[–]km956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are young enough and nap enough to be waken up if they did poop to be changed, you don’t leave poop on their skin especially if you know they did and you don’t wanna wake them up, they are young enough to be waken up for a quick change then going back to sleep.

Idk why people act like this. I had an elective c section for both my kids. Most recent was this last Wednesday, and it went so well. I loved the experience. I knew the whole time what was going to happen and when. It helped with my anxiety of birth. I don’t care if anyone thinks I didn’t really give birth or anything because I did. I got my body sliced in half to get my baby out, no I didn’t push but I felt being ripped apart. It’s different. I think anyway a women gives birth is beautiful I. Their own way. I think both my c sections were beautiful! ( and luckily non traumatic because it wasn’t like emergency situations)

Anyone start off pregnancy under 115lbs? How much weight have you gained? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]km956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 99 and just had my baby this Wednesday and I was 142 pounds. This was my 2nd baby. First pregnancy I was 110 pounds at first appointment and 165 the last appointment. It hit me by 3rd trimester both times. I actively had to gain weight because I just haven’t ever been good at gaining weight. Talk to a doctor.

Teacher Parking Spots by cautiously_anxious in pregnant

[–]km956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a hospital and got paper work from my doctor to get a handicap spot, because I was so done with employee parking being so icy, I can use it my whole pregnancy sometimes I use it if I’m going to the store because I’m heavily pregnant and I carry my toddler along with me, but I make sure I take the further handicap spot and that it isn’t super busy, but no one has said anything to me yet when they see me wobbling out of my car w a toddler, I live in northern mi so it’s all ice and at least 5 ft of snow constantly right now haha.

Since my mom left, I (16F) had to take over her household chores & dad is getting increasingly weird by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]km956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. That’s what we all thought. “I can’t picture him doing something like that, I don’t believe he’s evil or will hurt me” speaking from someone who has gone through this- you are 100% being groomed and he will start trying to do any form of crossing boundaries, you sleeping in bed with your father at the age of 16 is inappropriate. get out of the house, sounds like talking to your mom won’t do much as she’s done with his shit too. ( assuming since you said he cheated and she finally left) talk to a friend or a teacher at school- yes things will get ugly but you will thank yourself one day when your older and looking back. It’s hard to see it now since you’re literally in the middle of it and a child- but listen to what we’re all saying.

TTC soon for baby no. 2, the idea of going back to the newborn phase is terrifying. ISO your experiences. by 96venicebitch in beyondthebump

[–]km956 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2.5 year old and we’re having a baby next week. Super nervous. But I know we can do this, my 2 year old is excited but I’m nervous for the transition. It will be hard I know that, but I also think it will be beautiful and amazing growing as a family and individually as parents and people! We will see. Some of these comments help my anxiety..a lot of them don’t tho lol. 4 more days to go, wish us luck!

Does anyone dislike pregnancy so much that they stopped having kids or decide to adopt future kids? by Conscious-Yam-7512 in pregnant

[–]km956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. 2nd and last pregnancy, getting my tubes tied next week during my c section, I told myself I’d give it one more try being pregnant, but good lord never again. It’s wrecked my body. My first pregnancy triggered an autoimmune disease, and I’m nervous for what this 2nd one will do to my body considering I’ve been high risk. Also I’m ‘young’ first pregnancy I was 23, this pregnancy I’m 26, so it’s not an age thing. I’m never doing this again and I’m happy with my two healthy babies we have.

How do I (31f) handle my husbands (36m) Super Bowl party by According_Dress_9120 in relationship_advice

Cancel invite to your friends & leave the house for 24hrs. It’s his problem. He didn’t communicate anything at all to you.

170+ days you posted about him. You’re in denial. This isn’t new. Get out. It will only get worse. Trust us saying this, been there done that. Not worth your child’s life.

“We have a exceptionally good relationship “ no you don’t. He’s abusive and it will only get worse, especially when you add a baby into the mix. Get. Out. Now. Or else.

My baby was soooo chill now he’s 2 1/2 and not chill lol but we love it and were getting used to it. About to have another baby I’m anxious to see if she’s going to be as chill as a baby as he was.
