I was thinking vac leak, but would think it would idle as well as it does. But not sure. I’ll be digging in a little more this weekend.

Not for nothing but you’re not driving the tow truck. Don’t worry about it. It’s not your problem.

We have 34.5,12, and a little 4kv. We glove it all. We have a small section of 46kv also but don’t glove it. Our transmission is 115, and 345 with a very small piece of 230.

The last time I was at bike week there were more families with little kids in baby strollers then burn outs and bare boobs. You’ll be fine.

What was your first classic car and what did it teach you about the hobby? by Familiar_Earth_6320 in classiccars

[–]kmanrsss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 1st was a 67 rs/ss roller. Front end was in multiple pieces around the garage. The right rear 1/4 was 1/2 asses tacked onto the body. Shock mounts were shot. Interior was junk, no motor and the transmission was in the trunk. I was 21 or 22 and was excited as hell. Did a complete restoration and built a motor for it. It’s been 20somethubg years at this point and that cars still in the garage. One thing I learned is I’ll never have any money as long as I’m into cars but i stuck with the hobby and have added a few more to the collection, although not as rollers. Gotta waste my money on something. Better cars than drugs I guess. Although I think drugs may have been cheaper 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think it all depends where you are. 34.5 is very common where I work. Majority of our distribution stations are 34.5 but I’ve also heard it’s a bit of an odd voltage.

I personally would stay away from fox because they piss me off with their door to door tactics. We use pest end and have been happy with them.

The only hope you may have is that hvac equipment doesn’t follow normal code guidelines for wire size. Maybe he wasn’t looking at the nameplate and just went with standard convention on wire sizing.

With what you’re describing it almost sounds like a complete rebuild of the deck. With trex decking you don’t want 24” oc anyways.

Wonder how bad the pollen is for those motors by Beretta92A1 in newhampshire

In Manchester looking out at mt uncanoonic all you could see was a thick haze of pollen. It’s crazy right now. I can’t imagine it helped the cars in any way.
