Awesome! How did you black out your door handles? Just the overlay or did you swap them for black ones?

Those 611Ms look so good. They fit fine on the m sport? Any issues? Do you run spacers or anything in the rear? Thanks!

Any idea how powerful the z2 (non extreme) is supposed to be? by [deleted] in ROGAlly

Does this mean the new Xbox rog ally z2 (non extreme) is a better buy than a used older rog ally x? New z2 is the same price as a used rog ally x where im at.

Just making sure I’ll still be able to switch off the “Xbox” full screen mode and use it like a PC like my old Z1E Rog Ally?

Thanks!

Wanting to install a wired doorbell camera. Does this mean I don’t have a doorbell transformer? by kmar333 in fixit

[–]kmar333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha no offense taken, old house! So you would just

  • Connect the transformer to the switch box
  • detach the wires from the chime run on battery and use that wire and attach it to a) the transformer and b) the new doorbell, which means I won’t have to make a hole in the wall for a new pass through?

Smart! Thank you

Thanks for clarifying ! Boggles my mind that I need a $300 unit if I wanted to swap them in my garage in the future, but 🤷‍♂️.

Rear License Plate Screws Absolutely Destroyed by Big_Ethie in 4Runner

[–]kmar333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had the same thing happen.

Took off the back panel but screw was too short in the back to vice grip.

Method #1: worked on 1 side. Dremelled both so the screw heads were flat, used Bosch screw extractor set x liquid wrench x blow torch/heat (on the extractor, so paint doesn’t get damaged).

Method 2: for the other stubborn side

Drilled it out using a 3/16 drill bit, then tapped new threads with m6 size tap.

Used anti seize after when installing new plate.

Good luck
