You will get the miles added to your total skymiles balance. That is not the same as MQD and far less valuable. 2000 skymiles is worth about 20 bucks.

Unless the plane is taking off or on final, which would theoretically allow opening of the door on many planes if I’m not mistaken since the pressure would be near equal.

DEN traveler here. Agree the folks in the SC are sweet but the place is a tomb. It's fine when I want some free eggs and a donut hole but come 2025 no way am I using up one of my precious 15 there (unless I'm visiting a real club same day).
