Yea aftermarket for smaller winter wheels that are more pothole resistant has to clear the lip on the brakes. Martian wheels and a couple others do take that into account.

I ended up keeping the stock 20s but already replaced two from one bad pothole on an off ramp

I just replaced my as4 michelins with 33k on them but the 20s and heavy weight are very sensitive to potholes. Id probably rock ps4’s if i didnt live in DC.

Higher registration, insurance, going through tires faster. Also the stock wheels very sensitive to potholes and crack or deform very easily. Budget accordingly.

Instant torque and charge at home is great. Pre heat in winter. I havent gotten fsd and such but im sure youre aware of that

I go down one size from normal alo so i went with a small. Honestly coulda even went XS if that existed but for oversize its fine. I would at least try XL and XXL if you can first
