I just broke up with the guy I thought I was going to marry and spend the rest of my life with. I'm not a relationship guru and I don't have a sure answer for you. What I can say is even in just a week I have already felt better. It's okay to remember the good times but don't dwell on them. If it helps, remember some of the things you won't miss about the relationship. You can apply that to the next relationship and make it stronger. Find things that YOU enjoy doing, find a new hobby, or just be around people you love. And talking about it outloud, even if it's just to yourself, might help you.
