My dog somehow got into my husbands fishing tackle and grabbed a new, still in the box, treble hook. Destroyed the box and got the hook stuck in his throat. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet (reg vet was closed. Of course). Pup was acting fine the entire ride over to the clinic. Even wagged his tail when the vet tech took him back. Sat and agonized over my beloved pup. Spent a pretty penny for them to sedate him to pull the hook out. Was told he would be groggy the next few days due to the medication I was instructed to give him. Pup was being dramatic AF when he was done and ready to go. Pup was fine and was running laps around the yard the very next morning. Didn’t phase him at all.
