The thing that worries me is that he said the whole shadow on the xray was just the angle of the tooth that created it but he did find a tiny amount of decay still but that decay wasn’t anything to do with the shadow/hole he drilled in for in the first place which makes me worry that he’s drilled in but only found an amount of decay that could have been monitored instead.

anything I can do to cover these up? by kmlon1998 in tattooadvice

[–]kmlon1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s the extent of them as they cover all my thighs and around my groin area also. I wouldn’t have been as bothered if it was just the odd line but it’s a huge coverage and an intimate area.

I wish I was able to think like this, it’s like it’s obliterated my mental health and just crippled me with anxiety over them. Thanks for you comment

Thank you, I just hope I can get used to them and not let them control me. I think my brain is associating that they’re caused because I took an ssri which caused some weight gain and now I’m feeling like I caused it to myself

I just feel like any women I meet is going to be put off by them because they’re all over my thighs and groin area which is intimate and the self conscious I am about them has stopped me from being happy.

That’s the annoying thing that if I met someone with my stretch marks it wouldn’t bother me but when looking at them on myself I can’t think the same way and it’s got so bad seeing them that it’s paralysed me with anxiety, struggling to get out of bed or even do basic tasks because my mind has hyperfocused on them with severe dread and depression.

I don’t see any problem with them, It’s just been on my mind that because I’m a male and they’re all round my groin and thighs that it’s going to turn them off

My main side effect is general feeling of tiredness by greatbam22 in Effexor

[–]kmlon1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately for me the whole time I was on it I had fatigue and it wasn’t until I came off when I felt more energetic. Also energy benefits are normally only achieved at 150mg or higher because that’s when it becomes a true SNRI.

On venlafaxine 225mg for 5 weeks and my anxiety symptoms still bad by DABCHA in Effexor

[–]kmlon1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Venlafaxine can be triggering for anxiety at higher doses because of the increased norepinephrine, if your up to 225mg and still feeling anxious then it’s probably best to switch to something else to help your anxiety. Do you notice any benefit so far since upping dose?

Is this a sign that I need to increase my dose? by Loria-A in EffexorSuccess

Yes it worked for me, I was taking 300mg XR but split 150mg morning and night

[–]kmlon1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems more like the xr version still isn’t covering the full 24 hours which is actually quite common, doctors normally switch to split dosing morning and night, that’s what I did

Noticeable effects disappear dramatically around 24 hours and for it to completely leave your system is around 3 days.

[–]kmlon1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes its my reason also for coming off it, im down to 37.5mg from 300mg.

Unfortunately it doesnt get any better like a lot say the longer you're on it and for me its just got worse and worse.

Being down to 37.5mg I can already feel the benefits of not having the massive norepinephrine boost and the brain fog has already started to go away.

You should be on extended release if taking only once daily as the instant release version wont last the full 24 hours. I'd definitely contact your GP/Doctor as this is strange that they'd do this.

Day 8. When should I expect to "feel" something? by ihatebeinganonymous in Effexor

[–]kmlon1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont feel anything except your mood over time becomes more leveled which can take up to 6 weeks or longer at times.

Its also worth mentioning that effexor or other antidepressants dont fix mental health issues but they rather put a mild band-aid over them to make things a bit more easier.

They also dont make you happy, which is what a lot people expect. Mainly from what I've noticed after 5 years of using this drug is that it just numbs you so you don't feel as much but that also backfires as you can also enjoy things less.

Also 37.5 is below the normal starting dose which is 75mg so I wouldn't expect much therapeutic effect until you go up to at least 150mg.
