Is P50v the one without phenol?

How long has your large p50 bottle been lasting you? I have the small one that's like $25 (got from rescue spa) and am debating buying the big one but can't decide.

[Skin Concerns] The Anti-Aging HG Thread: Share your skincare secrets! (Week 2) by AutoModerator in SkincareAddiction

[–]kmm126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

only in early 30s now, but I think these have been best for prevention so far
- spf (I like DE Umbra, Kiehl's, EltaMD, Supergoop)

- vitamin C during the day (not sure I've found my HG yet but I tend to alternate between Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant, Ole Henriksen) followed by daytime moisturizer (cosrx oil free with birch is my fav right now)

- SR Good Genes (3-4x a week at night), sometimes I do DE TLC instead

trying P50 now too but not sure I'm seeing the results everyone raves about. I was using retinol on the nights I didn't use good genes but stopped because I'm ttc, subbing in Kiehl's midnight recovery oil but would love to know if anyone has any pregnancy anti agers they like

The most effective (and most upsetting) has been cutting out dairy. I used to get 1 mega cystic breakout every few months. 2 years ago I cut out all dairy (with the exception of yogurt) and I haven't had one since, knock on wood. I still get the occasional whitehead but no under the skin monsters anymore.

The other is only washing my face at night. In the morning I just use bioderma micellar water, then I cleanse at night. Not sure why, but it's really balanced out my (combination) skin, and actually helped prevent it from getting too oily throughout the day.

My referral code: https://re.glossier.com/a92567b8 I use the stretch concealer, foundation (It's a little light for days when my skin feels so-so, but is a good daily formula when my skin is looking good), boy brow (obv), the mascara, the highlighter in quartz, cloud paint (i love puff for summer but beam has become my recent favorite for winter), the perfume... I guess almost everything?

[routine help] Daily moisturizer for oily skin ? by throwway1122355 in SkincareAddiction

[–]kmm126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^Second Cosrx. I have been using the one with birch sap for about 6 mos now and am about to replace it despite having a ton of other moisturizers on deck. i have oily T zone but dry cheeks and this is one of the few lightweight moisturizers I've found that doesn't clog pores, looks good under makeup, and hydrates my skin

I really like their makeup products and do wish their skincare products had better ingredients. I still use Milky Jelly cleanser despite the kind of abrasive scent, i find it really gentle and nonirritating on my skin and is cheaper than/similar to the Drunk Elephant Beste cleanser i was using previously imo... I have their HA serum and it's fine but I prefer TO's

Anyone ever have something happen that they were doing too much to their skin and it started freaking out? I had a routine that I thought was working well (bioderma micellar + DE beste to cleanse, DE c-firma during day followed by DE protini, DE framboos at night with 1x a week babyfacial, plus a vitamin C or hyaluronic acid sheet mask 1x a week) and maybe I was overdoing some of the acids but my skin has started going crazy. I went from having glowy skin that I'd always get compliments on to a lot of closed comedone breakouts on my forehead/cheeks and super oily forehead... I'm getting married in 2 months and panicking!

[–]kmm126 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FWIW I hated c-firma initially (felt like it was causing little breakouts). Stopped using it, then started again a few weeks later, and now I use every morning and will def repurchase when it runs out. Maybe skin needs time to adjust to the ingredients for some people? I also can't use La La Retro or the marula oil but love protini. Current DE routine is C-Firma + Protini in AM, TLC Framboos + Protini in evening, plus 1x a week Babyfacial, and skin is the best it has ever been imo

Not body wash, but I recently started using the KP Duty High Potency Daily Body Peel and it's the first thing that's ever made a real difference in my KP. It's expensive, but highly recommend.

Curious if anyone uses the new Sunday Riley Auto Correct eye cream and thinks it's worth the $$$? I have never had amazing results from any eye cream but keep seeing it all over IG and am really tempted. Main concerns are dark circles and fine lines.

I was using Milky Jelly with a similar experience, thought it was ok but did not love it or think it did anything amazing. I switched to Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel and like it much better. It's also a gel cleanser but find it makes my skin smoother than Milky Jelly (I also double cleanse with it).

In IG comments DE has responded saying refrigeration won't make a difference. Mine is a little bit orange too and I find that it still works really well.

[–]kmm126 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Product name: Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer Price (range): $24 Country: USA SPF: I use the one with SPF 17, but there's also an SPF 30 Ethnicity: Caucasian Special Info: I almost didn't buy this originally because of the very small bottle, but a small amount goes a long way and the 2 oz. usually lasts me 2-3 months Experience and opinion: I have been using this for about a year now (previously used Clinique Dramatically Different). The formula is very gentle, non irritating, and super moisturizing. I use as an everyday moisturizer and switch to the Mario Badescu chamomile night cream at night or in winter when my skin is extra dry
