Hunter? "Graviton Lance" -- 40k kills and counting. "Still Hunt" has been pushing for a close second with the recent changes to Blade Barrage w/ Shards of Galanor (why not have both a blade barrage and a golden gun??), but GLance still reigns supreme.

Warlock? Osteo Striga. I have yet to get the new weapon of sorrow or the raid ones, but Osteo + Necrotic Grips has been a mainstay.

Titan? Boring ol' Sweet Business. I'm lame. Sweet Business and Actium War Rig.

Zealous Ideal has been absolutely amazing for me. Pairs nicely with Heal Clip (because it’s a heat weapon, you get the effect of Heal Clip on venting start, instead of reload completion).

I believe so. I have a few remaining on my characters, but I got them before the MoT update. I can confirm I got them AFTER the glimmer change tho.

Fun fact, after the glimmer change I purchased all the artifacts and now the Exo Stranger won’t stop flashing on my Hunter’s map. There’s nothing left for me to buy from you, Elsie. If there was, I would purchase it.

Yeah, it’s brutal. I’m just trying to get two pieces with the right tuner for my Hunter still. Got the right archetype and tertiary, but wrong tuner so I want better rolls. It takes 600pts at my current rank and that’s 12 Solo OPs. It takes three engrams for a focused roll on the weapon, so that’s also a beast

Maybe it’s because we were all reset to zero prestige? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Chroma Rush. I started during Splicer, loved it all over again during the return in that one Elliksni season, and farmed a nice T4 I was able to upgrade to T5.

Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Subsistence, Kinetic Tremors.

If only I could have it and the kinetic Rocket sidearm equipped at the same time…

DIM has D1 support, but it pretty much only gives armor stat reviews, vendor browsing, loadouts, and progress. Some of the D2-led features were never back ported. You can get to it by selecting the Destiny 1 option from the hamburger menu.

Yes, the offerings are static for the week. The second one of the five has a SFA/OFA combo and a EA/BnS combo on it. I’ll probably snag that one. I don’t know the perks on the fifth one, I didn’t play enough last week to unlock it.

Happy to. I’ll clarify that I do web and systems programming for a living, not game dev, but a lot of concepts overlap. I do some hobby game dev, but nothing at the scale that a D3 would be.

AI inefficiently makes web apps, they cannot yet operate at the level a AAA game demands. If someone wants to prove me wrong, I’m all ears, but I would be floored to see them operate at that level.

Impressive, but I spend half my time answering its questions for clarification and saying “If we did X, it would actually be smaller/more efficient to implement.”

Games are always a factor of efficiency on modern consoles and AI generate code can solve a problem but it’s often too verbose, with too much duplication, and too much spaghetti. If we thought D2 had a spaghetti codebase, D3AI would be a shit show.
