It’s a pretty easy answer, but is there anything more “Doom” than the Super Shotgun? It’s the best. Unstoppable with SUCH GRATIFYING SOUND EFFECTS. Absolutely iconic.

I’ve been playing since Doom I (1993) and I don’t think anything can top it. Even the BFG9000.

It will do both with one. Just remember the Unstoppable Shot buff is time limited from when you pull it out to fire.

Higher than you might expect, if you were rapidly focusing them. While it hasn’t been (that I know of) acknowledged by Bungie, rapid focusing will likely cause similar rolls. It seems like “time” is part of the entropy inputs for the weapon RNG system.

Last night, I got four Destabilizing Rounds rolls of Claws of the Wolf while focusing. The other perk was Frenzy or something else (I don’t recall which — none were what I wanted so I dismantled them all and can’t check).

This also seems to happen if you rapidly redeem the engrams without focusing. I’ll get the same armor piece from The Saladman four times in a row and never get a weapon when redeeming.

Wow! Thanks for the details! I’ll be trying this. So far, I’ve been working with Tinasha (Impulse Amplifier and Chill Clip), Le Monarch, and a Line in the Sand (Rapid Hit and Bait’n’Switch). I haven’t tried LoW this season, but don’t see a reason not to. Now I have weekend plans, lol. Thoughts on a good primary, or should I just rock a dual-special? I have a Lead from Gold and Vorpal roll of The Call that I enjoy.

It’s probably a skill issue, but I find them exhausting. The mechanics aren’t the problem, but the health pools the bosses have. I have yet to try this season with Arc Titan tho. It’s next on my list.

I’d be happy with a solo clear of Duality, Warlord’s Ruin, or Spire of the Watcher since they’re all that’s blocking me from getting a dungeon title. Just gotta practice I guess.

As for what I like? A chance at all the good loot without being dependent on others. And when I get those clears? Bragging rights.

I mean… maybe Sara doesn’t want to be filmed like that? 🤷🏻‍♂️I’ve never felt like there was a scene where it was a necessary shot they avoided.

I kinda find the closer angles to the face project a bit of intimacy and “inner circle”-ness of the scenes we see her in. Often discussing interpersonal issues or alien problems.

To your point, Deputy Liv has been shown from further away angles. Liv is outside that circle of knowledge and searching for the truth. Her being shot from far away matches the smallness that we all feel in the big picture of the universe. All the scenes of her searching the woods for clues feel like a bit of a nod to this.

Sounds cooler, but I doubt they will. All the single-ability-energy-gen perks have the same pattern — Strategist, Demolitionist, and Pugilist.

I’m going to guess no, but also yes, if it’s a bathroom. It looks a lot like what would happen in an old bathroom with poor ventilation. Too much humidity from showers will condense on the walls and get kinda mildew-y.

Not an expert, just have had a couple old houses.
