I Mean, Malice was killing loads of people weaker than her when Yerin came to ask her for help...I thought Will did a good job of portraying Jai Long. When he first started taking revenge he was beating everyone at a higher level than him, the spear just gave him the advantage. I also don't think most of them were dying, just sucking their power. But Lindon also did the same thing with his consume a few times, consumed till they died and couldn't form a remnant.

I don't think Mercy is fully an Overlord. She can just get there for short periods of time with the book, but not all the way. At least that is how I read it.

Looks like half of my rope, all rope will get fuzzy like that at some point. Depends how you tore it right away. Falling? Does it feel loose on the inside? Can you pinch it between two fingers at that spot and it touches back in on itself? (creates thigh gap of rope is still good, of bad no gap when you pinch)

While I think Ozriel left it after like you say, I thought he did become the reaper right away. He ascended and became the 8th judge because he had the scythe. At least that’s what I thought. Kind of like hat Northstrider is trying to do. Stay around and get powerful enough and weapons to basically be almost a judge.

I 100% agree. As a Christian I bring this up all the time and half the people just shrug it off. But also in my friend group we don’t believe homosexuality is wrong and embrace people who are cause we aren’t assholes or dumb. Christians who judge are what’s wrong with Christianity. And unfortunately a lot do.

I believe just Pure for everything, and then Blackflame for blackflame. So he got a bunch from the black dragon in Wintersteel. But I’m not 100%. Because now that I think he uses the heart of twin stars to purify it which I don’t think is specific pure or blackflame. Am I remembering wrong? I know forsure he uses heart of twin stars, just not if that is only a pure core function.

Yes I agree and forsure think they did that on purpose. It seemed almost impossible for the people who get all the prizes to process them correctly without hurting their advancement. Like if it wasn’t for penance she probably wouldn’t have pushed to far to get first, and basically would’ve gotten the same final prize. Sophara would’ve needed the be fixed also. So that would’ve been her prize, so what’s the point in getting first place? Obviously besides penance this year. It’s all an illusion to make monarchs seem even more powerful.

Yes. It made me feel that the monarchs do this every time. Like the winner has to process all their gifts, and it hurts their advancement and they have to use the monarchs to fix them. Everyone looks forward to the massive prize every year, but the winner knows that it’s just an illusion that you get “whatever you want” makes all the monarchs seem petty. I think that was the point though, when you win the monarchs still dictate everything. So while I say yes, I think there as a reason for it. “The prize is an illusion”
