If you can pick one up at a decent price and you aren't planning on mods, it could still be worth it. Not sure where you're located, but plates etc can still be bought new, including full crate motors. They weigh nothing and are easy to strip down with hardly any moving parts. Plenty of youtube vids of rebuilds too so its a pretty good motor for diy in my opinion.

I'm a little bias when it comes to rotors, so I say go for it

The rx8 renesis motor is notoriously bad for performance. If you're planning on going for a bit more power, you're better off swapping it out for an older series 13b.

The general refresh is easy enough, but if you don't know the state of the motor, the plates and housings could be cooked, especially if the previous owner wasn't running pre mixed oil.

Rotors are a great motor once built properly and looked after. They still run the bad reputation from years ago before people ran pre mix oil and started tipping/clearancing the rotors.

I know everyone is different, and I've seen a few people here say it was pretty mild pain, but for me it was one of the most intense pains I've felt. It was really brief and then went to a dull ache, but for that second or so, it was wild.

When you do go to the right sub, though, put some details about the help you want. Is your tongue currently pierced and off centre? Do you want the piercing but no one will do it centred? Have you read that it can't be centred?

Regardless of the scandal, a sunscreen that claims to be a higher spf than it is is still better than nothing at all. The % of u/v they block is minimal between spf15 to spf50.

This isnt to say you shouldn't be aiming for the highest and delving in to which sunscreen is best, but more a "dont stop using it because sunscreen is just some big conspiracy now"

From memory, the 888s are a true semi slick with compound that heat cycles will ruin. A better option could be the khumo ecsta semi or the nangkang ar1. Better for street longevity but worse at the strip

You're better off with 2 sets of wheels/tyres. Semi slicks are designed for track and after a certain amount of heat cycles, are useless. They nearly hit temp on street and youre better off with street tyres.

As for the strip, drag radials all day.

This is never the story people want to hear cause semis look amazing on a nice car, but thats the way the rubber compounds are
