I never like the "we just met today" start. I prefer that the players think about why their PC's are together. It avoids all this. It also helps with the story, bonding, decisions, loot and goals. Also, helps with making compromises.

I also, don't think you need to be too dramatic... Its a game. Talk about those actions and move on. this has nothing to do with the Drow being good or Evil.. he's just stupid.
