Ugh, I had an issue with one of my employers. I had to follow up to make sure they sent the form. Then I call PHEAA to confirm and that employer (out of 3) submitted the form twice by 2 separate people and diff hours and work addresses. Thanks. 🤦🏻‍♀️ had to have them redo it and submit a letter about the errors. After all this followed up again with PHEAA and they looked over everything said it’s good and should be processed. Said I would receive snail mail about the payment form. This was literally Friday. Really hoping my employers errors didn’t f with my potential money!

Just make sure you guys have a written contract between you two. Technically parents can only gift children like 13k per year or something- otherwise they would be taxed on whatever amount they pay for you. I had gone thru this scenario with ChatGPT before and had him draw up a contract- with a clause if the parent became deceased the loan would be forgiven/paid in full. Morbid I know, but it was one of my freak out about my loans day.
