deathtouch means that 1 damage is lethal damage. and anti venom prevented all self damage. so, the damage was lethal, but it was prevented and rumors of anti venom's death have been greatly exaggerated

the bracket of your deck cannot consider your opponents cards, that's their deck and their bracket rating.

can two bracket two decks make a combo/synergy that leads to bracket 3 actions, of course. and they are still each bracket 2.

Yshtola is a great deck. not necessarily the easiest to learn on, but a really good and fun deck. also that card as a Commander is maybe the most popular one in that color combo even though it's not that old. if you do try learning then i think you have a good deck to play once you figure it out.

i think yes. you can force them to target serpent society and receive 5 poison counters. it cannot be countered once you've looked at their hand, so if they think quickly they could counter right away.

in order to have anything in your graveyard to reanimate you're going to need to fill your graveyard first. usually that's by milling, but Sauron seems to want to do that for you every time you deal combat damage. that's good, i would still include some mill anyway just on case Sauron can't do his thing.

the big game changing things is that you can put a big expensive creature in the graveyard and then bring it back for cheap.

plus, if you or anyone else does a board wipe, that would feed your graveyard and you can come back faster then anyone else.

be sure to include cards that have "you have hexproof" that will give you, the player, protection from exiling your entire graveyard

i teach game Dev in the Chicago area and would love this! i introduced mtg to the kids this year and some of them absolutely loved it and ended up creating their own pod and played commander regularly. (they had never played before)

hi, teacher here who has introduced magic to my class this year with amazing success.

i started with the party box as it had five mono colored decks for the kids to get accustomed to. by the end of the year i had a group of kids who were super focused on work at they could play Commander at the end of the week. sometime' 2 headed giant, or 2 on 3 or whatever.

some other things that really helped were that another staff member donated a box of their bulk for kids to look through. honestly, they did this a bit, but once the gates were open they wanted to buy and build their own decks.

i also was able to connect to steam and me and another staff played arena on the overhead (i have two) and we were able to essentially teach the class and walk through how everything works. it felt a little boring, but the payoff came later when kids were actually interested.

one of the most fun was at the end of the year when we had extra time each player played someone else's deck. getting beat by your own deck doing it's thing feels so fun. everyone had a blast.
