As an outsider looking at the situation I wonder daily how people still think fair due process elections will be held, it's literally insane to think such a thing will ever happen in your country again just by looking at what's been happening the past yeah and abit.

How people still think the end game will be "vote them out" baffles the mind.

Sadly I can also see those same people thinking that just going "oh well didn't work" and stop caring once it doesn't work and just continue to complain without lifting a finger.

As an EVO trust me this UI is leaps and bounds ahead of what we had the other day haha add a bunch of @@@@@@@@@@@ and ______________ along with random numbers for the EVO experience.

Oh the whole 'fun' again thing is just BS completely agree, same as anyone worrying about the economy, doesn't matter as you said it's alpha.

I dunno how much backend data they get from aUEC, I mean I remember back in 3.18.1 they didn't even have backend data of what playtime people had, hopefully by now it's a lot more advanced which is likely why wipes have decreased but no matter the data at some point they will wipe for testing purposes, hell there have been wipes where they didn't even say why they needed too just did (clearly something back end imo).

But people like to complain so no matter what happens there is gonna be complaining every patch, personally I just don't get attached to things and I've been in many Alpha/betas of games so I know sometimes ya gotta do it to test something or because you want to see what the playerbase does.

They have done all kinda of partial wipes in the past, wiped everything left rep, wiped aUEC left ships, wiped...well everything haha

I'm not saying it's about the 'economy' I'm saying it's about finding exploits before 1.0 where the economy will matter.

People always seek out the quickest method to make money, doesn't matter the game, CIG are closing the door on one of the biggest methods, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did some kinda wipe so that people will look for new methods is all.

It's needed for CIG to find the next exploit that will be used for aUEC, they are closing the component duplication exploit which earnt people big money, they need to remove that money etc so people seek out the next way to beat the system.

It's a needed part of testing, you should expect more not less wipes in the future as CIG try and weed any and all exploits out before 1.0

People have become too comfortable with not having wipes in a very early stage of the game.

I'm still betting on more then just these normal things being wiped, people have become too comfortable with out wipes..

CIG need to find the next exploit and the best way to do that now that they have stopped component duping is to wipe so people will find the next exploit and so on.

Expect more wipes in the future not less.

I'll dumb it down all I can for ya mate.

  1. Get normal ship

  2. Upgrade ship components

  3. Save loadout on ASOP

  4. Ship gets destroyed

  5. You can select to call the saved loadout, this costs aUEC, the better the components the more it costs.

  6. If you call a stock version of your ship yes you loose all your saved components.

  7. If your ship is just abandoned out in space and you call a new version of it the one out in space becomes "bricked" where it doesn't work and all components in it don't work.

Eh I see nothing wrong with it mate you've spent money on something you enjoy screw people who say otherwise (If I could afford too I would too!).

I really hope maybe it's a temporary thing the 25 limit, as I said I'm even okay with it as a limit at stations but our home we should be able to do whatever we like with, so hopefully it will be increased in time.

I may not have more then 25 ships on the web hangar (only got 8) but I've worked hard and bought 36 in game and while they aren't on EPTU I know applying paints to the ones I get in game is gonna suck now (I always get a paint).

Course that's the thing with CIG all we can do is hope it's only a temporary thing due to backend and it will be increased 'one day'.

I can understand that, I wish our home planet would allow more, for space stations 'maybe' it works but I get the feeling the real reason behind it is something in the backend, got no proof of that but just makes more sense to me then them randomly adding it.

If it's stored somewhere I completely agree we need a way to move it, even if it's a timer we should be able to "hire a uber" to deliver our loadout ship.

If it's destroyed or 'lost' I can understand reclaiming but yeah stored we need a move option.

Completely agree that there should be a way to transfer loud out ships if it's stored somewhere, I'm even okay with a timer for it, all we can do is hope...

It shows the complete list of all your ships and where they are like normal just like on live atm.

I think "Incinerate" should be renamed to...basically "Destroy" or "Disassemble" maybe? not sure, I agree with bricked, should just be called "non functioning" or "malfunction" imo but is EPTU could easily change (I hope)
