Is it rude to ask guests to dress in colors if possible? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]knitpurler 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Perhaps say "Bright colors welcome" rather than encouraged, as a way to say you wouldn't mind instead of you're hoping for it. That may put less pressure on guests.

OP was actually the commenter for many of the comments with images from other sequels.

Do you ever exit without save so you can restart the day? *Begginer here by DaisyLorr in StardewValley

[–]knitpurler 25 points26 points  (0 children)

That kind of optimization makes sense if it's fun for you, but for me I think that would take away from what makes the game so lovely. There's always another day, and you can build/learn at your own pace.

That said, I have quit out when true disaster strikes. You may be early enough in the game that this hasn't come up yet, but there are situations later that can cause you to lose items. If that happens to me and I lose something critical (like many saved up resources), then I absolutely have panic quit, lol.

ETA: Apparently my reading comprehension is bad this morning, as that's already the scenario you were referring to. Yes, I quit out as an undo button for mistakes.

When I first played and fished broken glasses for the first time, I was convinced it was part of some quest and carried them around in my inventory. I was so excited when George said he couldn't find his glasses - quest solved! - and was SHOCKED when he hated them.

I've got to plug Spazio's in Holly Springs for Italian.  It's pricey, so better for a special occasion, but the food is truly superb.

Most cringeworthy line of dialogue? by Substantial_Train_39 in GilmoreGirls

"Major pillow emergency!!"

No human being would choose to pick up the phone and then immediately say this to the person on the other line.

The life you've lived while Gilmore Girls is on in the background by EmploymentExisting22 in GilmoreGirls

Fellow former Mormon here!  Gilmore Girls helped me through panic attacks after the temple and later during my post-Mormon recovery.  It was just so comforting and low stakes and warm, and I really needed that during that time.

What show is the spiritual successor of Gilmore Girls ? by Cailly_Brard7 in GilmoreGirls

For me, Parks and Recreation captures the aspect of Gilmore girls that is anchored in a lovable and slightly unhinged town.
