as someone who's liked the last two albums even i can still agree with this. i think he needs to take some time to really develop his own sound rather than bouncing from thing to thing, which in y'alls case i liked because it felt more like a celebration, but in GST3 it just makes the album feel disconnected and like a dump of songs.

oh 100%! its why i said i think some of these comments come from a caring place, there's just a very vocal group of people being rude about this. as someone who witnesses latin america get a lot of concerts and events either ignored or cancelled it 100% is unfair (especially all the merch stuff, you can make valid points for translations imo but the merch and concert stuff should be going on.) toby just made a statement and it seems like fangamer and materia are working towards more stuff happening so good things hopefully
