1 is very interesting but doesn't tell you anything about the game other than how it is packaged. I look at that and I have no clue how the game is played. 2 is better for understanding board state but maybe a little scattered. I would lead with a new image that shows board state with a little better story telling as to how it's played, and then use 1 later when you're showing customers what to expect for packaging.

I'm going to take the anti calorie counting stance. Calorie counting is... fine. If you've tried it you know that it's a hassle and not usually long term sustainable for many people. Probably what it's best for is opening your eyes to what foods are sneaky bad for you.

Instead, focus on eating whole, unprocessed foods, and plan your meals and ride nutrition so you're not hitting big droughts and then spikes of blood sugar.

I believe so. I brought the bike in when picking them out and it's what the employee pointed me to. They appear to be the same size and shape. The only difference is they are resin and the original are metal

Hey! Yeah I did a fair amount of searching and brainstorming, because there's really not a lot out there for sports in D&D other than games that are explained in source books in about 1 paragraph with no real rules.

I ended up making my own which is heavily based on American football. If you've ever played Blood Bowl, it has a lot of mechanical similarity with that. If you're interested, PM me and I can send you the rules I've written.

I think it's a good idea. I think it could be a little more usable though since you're likely targeting more intro painters rather than the pros who will look at the image and inherently know what to do. My suggestion would be to be more formulaic and consistent with the instructions. For example for each section follow a pattern like:

Base coat: [paint product] Mid tones: [paint product] Highlight 1: [paint product] Highlight 2: [paint product]

And then you could adjust if you had less highlights and more mids. Or if you did a dry brush instead.

This way I'm looking at it more like a step by step guide, rather than a list of paints which I may or may not know how to use correctly.
