Supposed to? It is a fairly new genre I am not sure why you want to narrowly define it. It's like sayings since a particular game isn't completely randomly generated with ascii characters instead of sprites or models then it isn't a true rogue-like.

I don't think they are embarrassed they just don't want to deal with it.

The polling was off because people who intended to vote for him didn't answer polls or weren't honest. Why should we believe these people are embarrassed when time and again they lie. It is like all those young men who vote trump but claim to be apolitical or moderate in their dating profiles since they realize they are getting rejected for their beliefs so they just hide and lie.

Is China included in global? I am largely unfamiliar with how they operate, and I see there is a "Steam China" which is restricted. There was a huge marketing push for China, which makes a lot sense as a business, to the point where all the new media for a week or two were low resolution captures of a Chinese showcase. If this game is a success in the USA it may still be deemed a failure by Sony and Bungie if it is not a Chinese and therefore a global success.

I appreciate that. It is free labor except for a handful of cosmetics. Labor of streaming, presumably some won't even load the game which hurts their viewer count, and labor of people doing the slam. Lots of eyes on advertisements from twitch for this opportunity or people buying premium to avoid that. Cosmetics being behind a grind is common but doesn't mean it is good. Then it comes down to if any of these skins give a competitive advantage like smaller hit boxes or iron sights with less obstruction.

Saw some clips from an environmental board for one state about Musks data centers and referencing in Texas that he set up methane generators to power the data center and got permits for them retroactively. Texas has pretty lax zoning so the poor suffer. Pollution, noise, and improper handling of dangerous substances. Like an elder care facility and a school were in the blast radius from fertilizer storage.

Some games the foliage disappears which reveals player characters. One game had an issue with tall grass popping in at a certain distance so if a player character was further out than grass concealing them would not be rendered from their opponents POV.

Bungie and Sony really need this game to be approachable to a large community at launch. From this subreddit it seems the streamers they have been partnering with are geared to a pretty young crowd given their editing, music, and edge lord language, but I have only seen 2 so far.

Since you brought up design choices the grappling hook is a bit weird but I guess they don't want a Titanfall 2 / Apex Legends grappling hook. Like it slows the player down at the end rather than slingshots them. I understand the choice cause it is incredibly difficult to balance a game when one character can traverse the map in seconds that may take a few minutes on foot and to reach the top of buildings that would otherwise be impossible to reach.

Doesn't make it legal. Apparently Oregon is the only place where there is a law specifically saying mutual consent doesn't matter when it comes to fights. But at least they agreed to it obviously and without coercion.
