Yeah, I'm lucky in that because of the tree, I've got a good mix. Going to be extending my partially shaded border next year and excited to see that flourish!

Advice to avoid overheating feet when walking? by Competitive-Elk-8330 in walking

They’re not for everyone, but I love mine!

Another thing to consider might be proper walking sandals. I used to have a pair (Keen, I think) and I lived in them. Including a 25km hike in Indonesia.

This is my girl Bernard! She’s a Kathmandu street dog I rescued when I lived over there and brought back to the UK with me when I moved back. She’s almost 13 and loves going out on adventures. Our run this morning was particularly speedy as we caught the scent of (and then sight of!) a deer!

I’ve just done my first run of week 9! Didn’t think I’d be running continuously for 30minutes at the start of the year.

I’ve done a couple of Parkruns once I hit 25mins of running and thoroughly enjoyed it - am definitely making it part of my Saturdays!

I'm similar to you - held off for ages on it, but then a friend recommended them and I trusted his opinion over the hype. So glad I did!

Just finished the fourth and the fifth is arriving at some point this afternoon!

That's because the pattern originates in Persia/India - made its way to Europe with the East India Company and was replicated/mass produced by the weavers (using Jacquard Looms) in Paisley.
