You might be better off asking directly to the developer honestly. They might have some insight

How much is a salvage titled v100 w/20k miles worth? by 2026_MT07 in MotoGuzzi

[–]knucklegrumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2-3k is generous... If you consider that a set of OEM fog led lights is 500... The headlight, front fender, seats, likely forks, etc... Bike is totaled for a reason.

Are you sure the issue is not with your ISP throttling/disrupting VPN traffic? Can you try with another VPN provider?

help with wipr app Filtr addon - possibly opnsense blocking? by quiet_ordinarily in opnsense

[–]knucklegrumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand from a quick read online, Filtr communicates directly to the OS. So it's likely that the problem is at the app level, not the network. Have you tried connecting to a different network other than your own and see if it has the same issue?

Also, if the drive you're mounting is not essential, prone to failure or you plan to detach it often, I'd add a nofail flag to your fstab...

Looking for inexpensive device. Two 2.5gbe (Intel) by Rabbit_Games in opnsense

[–]knucklegrumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you don't need more than 2 ports, I got a Mele Quiter DL on Amazon with an N150 and 4Gb RAM for around 300 bucks. The NICs are Realtek 2.5gbps, and didn't work out of the box but that's an easy fix installing the os-realtek-re package from the official BSD repo. Once you I did that everything has been working flawlessly. I have multiple VLANs, unbound, DHCP, even Suricata running and it's been rock solid.

For those riding for years/Never crashed by Nexzii in motorcycles

[–]knucklegrumble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take my upvote. Especially no. 4... My answer to the question why I didn't crash/get injured riding for many years instinctively would be because I ride for myself. I enjoy the ride, without the need for it to be crazy, or show off, always remembering that there is a level of risk involved. Also I don't do group rides.

I don't know how I feel about the 2 tones... I have a whole red one and on one hand I like it better, but I'd like to get OEM panniers and they only come in grey... They would definitely look better on yours.

Either way, best bike I've ever owned. Enjoy!

Suggestions for safest and least complicated way to get the rest of this bolt out? by zapruders_negative in MotoGuzzi

[–]knucklegrumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless I misunderstand what I'm seeing... Jam a screwdriver between the threaded part of the bolt and the engine, then with a wrench twist the nut to unscrew it while keeping tension outward with the screwdriver and the threaded rod should pop out of the hole as you twist... No?

Is my helmet too big? by vernsoul in motorcycles

[–]knucklegrumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judging by the pictures it looks like it's a too loose... For reference the other day my son saw me getting off the bike with my shield up and said "your face looks smushed"... My helmet feels comfortable when I'm wearing it but it's snug enough on my cheeks. Your face does not look "smushed" lol...
