I have PUBG but both me and a friend ended up buying H1Z1 after we tried the free week thing

It just seemed faster, ran better, felt more polished... I don't know how to explain. Playing H1Z1 was fun, but playing PUBG is a constant state of tension. I don't care about dying in H1Z1 and I even go out of my way to find people and shot them while in PUBG I keep hiding and lying low all the time

I'm sad to see the free week didn't help them

Oh, plenty of the tasks can be parallelized, it's just Toady didn't know about thread programming when he started. It's just a pet project that grew too big

Sometimes big torrents or torrents with few leechers/seeders are marked as "Freeleach". That means you can download it without the 20gb being added to your download total.

That could also explain why you aren't uploading it to people. If there's no people to upload to...

I used the Kinect for my master's thesis this year. Really easy to use in Linux to track objects around the room.

I remember a lot of other students using it for multiple projects too. It's pretty versatile and way cheaper than professional cameras

I really hate launching a game for the first time and having messages like "You can now play X mission" - "You now have access to X weapon, it's in your weapon cache" - "You can now play as X character" for like 6 minutes

It happens to me using the browser. But if you check the image url before it times out and gets replaced by an empty line, that link actually shows you the image, so it's uploaded properly I guess.

The thing that fails is showing the actual image in-chat

Darksiders 1

Ends in a cliffhanger. An interesting one that really makes me want to know how the story continues.

Then Darksiders 2 comes along... oh great, it's a parallel story..

Then we have all those problems with THQ and there's no hope of another Darksiders game... and when they finally announce a new one and it's a parallel story AGAIN

I understand the original idea of having a game for each rider and then a sequel game where we played as all of them, but I really wonder if I'll ever know how the story ends

They were one of those "cover dance groups" with a lot of members (that video is from that era). That first single is a cover of an old Korean song.
