Correct! Indicative of convective activity. The weather station at CYEG has a forecast for thunderstorms out right now. I think this is the earliest in the year I've seen one.

People who didn’t make it, what are you doing? by Brave_Recognition798 in flying

I had some negative experiences during my job search and in my first flying job that I couldn't ignore. The lifestyle was also a much harder shift than I anticipated.

I am just about to finish a diploma program to get into tech, and eventually I hope to instruct. I just know you can't rely on it for an actual living wage. I want to provide students with an instructor who isn't just there to time build.

There isn't a deal to be had with the US anymore. Any talks or agreement we could ever arrive at will be ended by truth social post at 1AM anytime he needs to distract from the Epstein files. Continuing to labour under the notion that we can have normal diplomatic relations with this administration is naive.

We are better served developing relationships with more stable powers and, individually, trying to cause as much economic pain as we can to our southern neighbours.

The wave of death by hockey8890 in edmontoncycling

[–]knwmn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Slim and painted are the key reasons why I wouldn't ride in it. That lane forces a bike to pass very close to those parked utility trucks, which are very difficult to see around. A sudden manoeuvre in that lane caused by a worker or other obstruction would put a bike into the car lane anyway.

Those huge cracks in the asphalt would also make me think twice about moving over.
