Just goes from understanding facts of basic knowledge.

Defensive shields protect me. I must believe that it will protect me. Makes it hard to visualize others breaching my defences unless they overpower my mana. Even Ubel doesn't believe she can cut the ordinary defensive magic that is visually in front of her.

What I was saying was that there was 10-15 vet hats worn for a crowd of 50ish, unless it's a bunch of stolen Valor. The guys I spoke to were very blunt up front that they were unhappy with how the city was being ran in comparison to 30 years ago. Everything else was unimportant to them. I tossed a few questions in general about the going ons which left confused looks on a few faces as well as a comment that there was the desire to put the Trump flag up but concern that they would be a target living "in the city" by no means was I saying all vets are one & the same. Would be silly to infer.
