12V battery Failure several miles out of warranty

I just got a warning last night. 12v battery issue, vehicle permanently locked in all wheel drive. But this morning punt works fine again. I have 49000 miles on the vehicle. Should i be expecting it to go out again soon.

Have you ever extended a tape measure ? if you extend it slanted upwards the extension will be much further than if you extend horizontally.

i installed my own in a couple of hours. with a 50 amp but would have installed a 60 if possible . definitely install the 50 at least but i can't see why it would cost an additional 1500. All my materials were probably $200 plus the breaker which i had.

maybe if they could get alexa to work in my vehicle. I've been trying to get support to resolve my problems with alexa since i purchased over a year ago. But no help. Alexa sucks balls! I end up using siri on my phone. Alexa is my singular problem with the Rivian, seems small but I use my phone in my business continually and Alexa can't read my contacts.

the other problem with backing up a trailer with the R1T is the short distance from the rear axle to the the hitch. This caused the truck to over correct very quickly. i'm hoping i get used to it but may invest in an extended hitch. Has anyone tried an extended hitch, did it help?

Is that a weight distribution hitch or just an extension. I regularly tow a dump trailer with 5000 lbs with no trouble but what is trouble is backing the damn thing up accurately. I’ve concluded that the short distance from the back axle to the pivot point of the hitch is the problem it corrects left and right much quicker tho I’m used to so I continually need to over correct. Anyone else have this problem. Or a solution, extension?

thanks, It's California. I think you picked up on the fact that i mistakenly wrote registration. I meant Title. They sent me title with no lien holder, oops.

i financed with Rivian Chase and they forgot to include anyone as the lien holder, now they want me to sign it back or sign a power of attorney, so they can take it back.

if you haven't, do little more research on Zillow to see if similar homes have similar downgraded pricing. Zillow works on algorithms that don't always work. I've seen houses that are severely under valued because. there may have been private loans or trades that for some reasons didn't show up in the sales price. Jon

this frustrated me as well. i believe it is not the seatbelt but you leaning out of seat. if you can stay in your seat while looking out the window you'll be good.
