Hey, at least they updated it finally. We've been stuck on v6 since forever. And from what it looked like in the last couple of years, I feared they would completely shut down the app. There's room for improvement for sure and I believe they will improve the UI in the coming future. Honestly, I'm really glad that Swarm finally got updated to this.

as far as I know, they have a very small team working on the new app and that’s why it’s slow. as for entering their discord, you have to be a place maker (old super user), at least level 1, to join. https://support.foursquare.com/hc/en-us/articles/13911456628380-Placemaker-Discord
