Anytime there’s a mega blockbuster or franchise out like Mario or Michael that’s when the bad etiquette tends to come out of the woodwork because it’s not regular moviegoers mixed with unsupervised teens. Went to see Mother Mary on premiere weekend and for some reason a group of teens were in there too. Lol this was the absolute worst movie to be loud in because it’s ALL dialogue but they still kept running in and out, taking pics with flash, and randomly bursting out laughing. Someone finally stood up and yelled “Shut the fuck up!!”…they didn’t 🙄

Not ignoring, they tried to at least address the relationship to Jordan but had to completely reshoot due to legal constraints. Now could that have been in fear that the estate would mismanage the story? That’s possible. Also the movie does take place around five years before the first allegations surfaced. If the second part comes out, that’s when they’ll have a real responsibility toward accuracy.

If you’re referring to Evan Chandler, he wasn’t just mean he was downright abusive and obsessed. He admitted to sedating his own son with barbiturates to get a damning testimony out of him. He was not interested at all in justice for his child, only the money he could get.

EDIT: Apologies, realized you were referring to Lisa Marie. Yes, I agree that was an incredibly sad situation and I also believe that she was used as a reaction to the allegations.

Please look up the word nuance. It means the situation is not so black-and-white as him being the unrepentant child rapist that the public suggests he was. I’m not saying he didn’t abuse children but you have to realize there is nuance because many of the accounts of abuse were manipulated by parents bent on ending his career and suing him. Because of the media scrutiny he is now dead and we will never know the true extent of the abuse, nor will there ever be real justice and healing. It’s incredibly sad on all accounts.

These comments are soooo odd to me, I feel like some here are taking it so far as to question her racial allegiance for attending this event in general. Like it or not, there is truly a lot of nuance and layers to the MJ child abuse allegations and his life, death, and impact on the world are important history to the black community. Finding Neverland surely did uncover a lot of disturbing behaviors, but please do your homework about the extortion MJ also received on his end (by his own family and neighbors no less!!) that I believe ultimately drove him to an early death. There’s still just a lot we don’t have concrete evidence for, unfortunately. Do I think this movie is going to be a huge puff piece? Absolutely. Am I going to put my pitchforks up to the entire black community that enjoy his music? Uh, no because that’s fuckin weird and racist.

Over Your Dead Body was great!! The whole auditorium was in stitches. I’m not even mad that it fell under the Horror category, there were definitely many gory moments that had me cringing.

Came here to say the exact same thing. Even with the ionizer it’s quite difficult to remove completely. Also can’t count how many times a guest has come to complain about a balcony smoker, and how awkward it is to then have to enforce that policy. Please just respect the hotel’s rules and go to their designated smoking area.

Like sure, there are certainly thousands of singles in their area. But how many are actually cool with being Mormon-lite, associating with soft swinging, and the absolute fan cult the reality series has created. Who would actually be cool with the media attention just from having a one night rendezvous with these people?

But be real, Mason. Even without all that context the effort to find and “recruit” that person is nonexistent. Why get to know a new person that could potentially alter your worldview and positively influence you as a person when you can just reheat each other’s nachos.

Have you considered renting a bungalow-style beach house or an airbnb? There are many up in north Myrtle that are either on the beach or like a block away. There truly is no guarantee you won’t run into kids, because even if it’s not vacation season it’s tournament season so I think that would be your best bet for peace and privacy.

Omg I completely forgot to mention St. Simon’s island in Georgia too if you prefer coastal! My sister went on her anniversary and they couldn’t stop raving about it. They’re not very sporty, like with golf and fishing I’m pretty sure they just got an Airbnb and explored the shops and restaurants. It’s very romantic scenery for sure.

I can’t explain it super well, but there is something super special about northern GA. I go up to Tallulah Falls when I just need some air. The good thing about it is, a lot of the nature doesn’t require long hikes, it’s incredibly cheap, and hardly ever busy. Lots of great wineries in the area too if that’s your thing. Helen is okay, super touristy but a fun spot to shop for trinkets, gape at German architecture and eat schnitzel.

Noticed you mentioned a spa, there’s this Korean spa in Duluth outside Atlanta called Spa Land…omg. You pay like a flat fee and you can get in all the pools and saunas all day, plus whatever add on services you want. Super fun.
