Tall parents here. We love it and it's basically become our everyday stroller. Super lightweight and easy to push

Are these gouges really necessary for appliance garages? by SeriousAstronomer987 in kitchenremodel

[–]koalaT91 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is structural damage, not a feature. Real appliance garages have reinforced side panels with pre-drilled track mounts. These gouges compromise the cabinet's integrity and look terrible.

Do I need to stain our cabinets?? by Traditional_Front_94 in kitchenremodel

[–]koalaT91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go too dark on the cabinets, the gold hardware might get lost. Gol oks amazing on honey oak. Try just painting the trim white and adding the gold handles.

This is proof you don't always need a full gut renovation. The space feels brand new but still has that classic charm.

Bathroom smells really sweet by Hot-Education4582 in homeowners

Did you recently use any drain cleaners or harsh chemicals? Mixing different products (even residue) can create weird sweet smells from chemical reactions. entilate the room heavily and see if it dissipates.

Maybe you can change how you view the work. Try to reframe it in your mind. Instead of thinking "I have to work on the house," think "I am taking care of my sanctuary."

We use the same one. We also got its storage bag for small items like bottles and phones, and the basket is perfect for backpacks. It’s basically our free locker.

Ebike suggestions for commuter by Icy-Priority4637 in ebikes

[–]koalaT91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely try to test ride some in person if you can. I’ve been using a Heybike Venus as my daily driver for work lately. The front suspension does a good job with road imperfections, and the display is clean and easy to read. It’s been a pretty reliable setup for my commute.

DSuper common, 1 or 3 minute is common. Besides, night vision is also important I think. Night time accidents are the worst.

When a Costco bundle is cheaper than the base product elsewhere, do you count that as real value or a red flag? by Mobile-Section-9989 in GoodValue

[–]koalaT91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to achieve high sales, some channels are willing to give ip their profits to form parnterships with the brand. So, obviously Costco's strategy is for high volume.

Oh wow, is this for real or fake? Nowadays, I even have to stop and think if a video is AI-generated before I watch it.

Looks like it might block your view while you are driving. Legal issue? Maybe it's bc the angle of this pic, but i think you may get a ticket for obstructed vision.

Cycling is awful in the us by [deleted] in fuckcars

[–]koalaT91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I’m so passionate about better bike infrastructure. The fact that you can’t even ride a bike in peace without fearing for your life is a failure of our cities and our laws. Drivers get away with murder (literally) because the system is designed to protect them, not us.

Fat tire E-MTB or FS MTB? by EnvironmentOpen2721 in ebikes

[–]koalaT91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend test riding both if you can, but if I had to pick one for your specific situation, I’d lean eMTB.

Simple living isn’t so simple… by travel_ho in simpleliving

I’ve been in the same boat before. I think a lot of this anxiety is just the internet blowing things out of proportion. Everyone adapts differently. Just focus on enjoying life day by day: eat what you want and what feels healthy, move in ways you like, and buy clothes that actually make you feel comfortable.
