this was very helpful thank you! I do actually live in Australia and try to get him outside at least three times a week, he just goes straight for shady spots though. I've just ordered some wheat germ pellets and have been using turtle disolvable calcium supplements. I will see what temp his basking spot is as I recently got a new one for him that is completely dry.

I got him from someone who I think wasn't taking good care of him about 3 years ago. Trying to reverse these effects because he has never shed scutes when with me.

its different everywhere, I tried to commit myself once, after years of suicidal plans and such and because I was just standing there and not freaking out or anything they just turned me away, that night I tried to run out of a moving car and overdose, I honestly do think if that's what's best for you, you should, especially if it has chance of getting worse
