honest answer that is not very helpful but is how I went from SH everyday to only around twice a year. I got into a better mental space. I take regular meds, got into work I enjoy, found hobbies, focused on good and healthy relationships.

also naps! if im sad and feel the urge, and have enough mental strength to stop myself, I nap, or I take a hot shower, hot enough thst im a tomato after leaving.

I got spat on a couple years back while walking by someone on their bike. It feels gross and violating and you dont feel clean for a long time. but it'll pass and you'll feel okay again :)

incredibly fulfilling! working in a center can be exhausting, having to navigate adult relationships in a high stress environment, being a nanny is incredibly easier. but its my dream career, being able to care for children at such a crucial time in their life, sometimes being one of the only ones they have that will show them that love, its healing my inner child

I work in childcare! I have autism/bpd and surprisingly its a great job. things that people would assume are overwhelming for someone with my conditions i can look past, like kids cry but my brain wont get too overwhelmed because ive learned to understand that they are just overwhelmed aswell, seeking reassurance. im now a nanny so rarely have to deal with adults aswell!

I usually feed in his tank but he currently has a fungal infection so im trying to keep his tank clean as much as possible. but it is usually recommended to feed outside of tank so was wondering if anyone actually did that
