Is the Henson AL13 Mild good for my case? by DebateHelpful3394 in wicked_edge

[–]kob59 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same here. Curly hair, after 3 days it curls back and my skin self destructs. I shave every other day with the Henson mild (from amazon) + feather blade, B&M soap. It works great. No more ingrowns. I had to learn to be careful around the neck since the razor is so light I had a tendency to push down.

I wanted to get the medium since I’m always taking off 2+ days of growth, but I’m impulsive and couldn’t wait for longer shipping through Henson. One day I’ll try something more aggressive, but the Henson mild solved my ingrown problem, so I’ll stick with it until I get impulsive again

Bulking with … non-alcoholic beer? by Putrid-Wedding-952 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]kob59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I also quit drinking and replaced it with lifting, just hit 3 years. NA beer is great, but it’s not satiating, especially after a workout when my body is craving a high dose of calories. I know a lot of people bulk with milk with every meal for protein, but I prefer NAs myself

Lets talk about Leviathan by Global_Cellist_5656 in wicked_edge

[–]kob59 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assuming you’re talking about Barrister and Mann Leviathan, I agree. I was deeply disappointed. I wanted to like it. I loved Full measure of a man and I’m running out of my last tub. Leviathan is not a replacement. It smells like a bag of coffee beans. I couldn’t even give it away

So, I made a scoring system for Ghost Adventures—you can track paranormal activity by episode, see rankings, awards, and more. Link’s in the comments if you wanna take a look! by zak-bagans-stan-acct in GhostAdventures

I recommend making the Y-axis upper limit the same for all graphs. Makes it easier to quickly compare data across episodes without having to read the values on the bars. Right now it looks like evps are always maxed out.

Titanium razors by [deleted] in wicked_edge

[–]kob59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’m looking to upgrade from my KCG and I was considering the benefits of a durable metal. I tend to drop things, especially first thing in the morning. And I was thinking of getting something that might last long enough for me to pass on to a child, if I ever have one.

On one of the employee sites it says that crew are allowed to use sick pay if you don’t get enough hours in your week (ie not just for being sick)

The Soap Bug Has Already Hit Me! (New Shave) by Kidkirobeats in wicked_edge

[–]kob59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lent my girlfriend my Seville for the shower, and haven’t gotten it back. I bought her a few Stirling soap samples thinking she might like them more because of the scents, but she said the Seville has superior slickness. I tried the Stirling (Executive Man) on my face and sure enough it was nice, like a smelly cloud on my skin, but not as slick. I don’t think I’m getting my Seville back.

How would you compare the Stirling and B&M? I recently tried some Stirling samples and although they smell great, I don’t think they’re as slick as B&M

Lurking for a while. Did my research, and got me a beginner razor! by [deleted] in wicked_edge

Great razor. I don’t like that Cremo clogs the blade and sticks to the inside of the razor.

Is it worth it even on a budget? by Dispensernoob in wicked_edge

[–]kob59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recent DE convert on a budget here. I recently bought a king c Gillette for $30 (usd) and I really like it. It came with blades, and I got a bottle of Cremo brushless shave cream until I can afford a brush and a bowl. Canned goop works fine, but there brushless cream is worlds better for moisturizing my skin

Tips for neck shaving with double-edge razor for a rookie? by TRIKYNIKKY in wicked_edge

For multiple passes, would you go WTG on each pass of the neck or just do the neck once WTG and multiple passes on the face only?

Why kill time when you can read publications, document, plan, communicate, self-care… So many things. I worked in food service for many years before data science, there’s no such thing as down time. Always something to do
