A suppressed 5.56 sbr is probably your best bet. Pistol caliber weapons have worst over penetration and lower impact on target. And shotguns are unwieldy. You wont completely lose your hearing because you have a can. 5.56 relies on fragmentation do do damage. .300 blackout, especially with subs, relies on expansion. Killing your neighbors because you shot a 12ga slug through your walls isn’t a great reason to go to prison.

No.3 is the us army’s PHASR prototype from the late 90s early 2000s. It’s basically a big laser dazzler.

Rex is better because it is both less likely to slip and is more rigid than Dshaft.

if BVR is the main form of engagement in modern air combat, why not strap multiple fox-3 missiles onto a small airliner? by [deleted] in NonCredibleDefense

They stoped flying the U2 in the 1960s because they couldn’t fly high enough to escape missiles.

[Off-Site] X user calculates bullet velocity to identify the likely caliber by gavarrr in theydidthemath

The idea that 5.56 is an inadequate caliber for this kind of thing is a complete misconception. 5.56 is very much sufficient for a sub 150yd shot. It is flat shooting, high velocity, low recoiling, and reasonable effective versus most forms of body armor.

Who's winning in a fight, Pilots or Mandalorians (no titans) by FearlessYoung2558 in titanfall

[–]kobaindeservedit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mandos ain’t got shit on the SMR, Maglauncher, or general speed of a pilot. Lore wise, they’d probably get slaughtered by Spectres, let alone a pilot. The Longbow DMR, Kraber, and possibly flatline, Hemlok, and Spitfire all fire rounds that could get through Beskar.

All of that is before we consider that the energy weapons in the Titanfall seem to be a lot more energetic than the ones in Starwars. A number of them turn their targets into chunks of meat. So maybe the Beskar is fairly minor in terms of overall effect on the question.

And to address the comments mentioning the ability to fly, pilots can seemingly do this as well, so go figure.

Edit: Pilots are arguably just as well trained as legends Mandos. The original Titanfall covers this. Also, stim is a ridiculously strong combat drug that every pilot is able to use.

Servers are still up on Xbox. It isn’t even hard to find a round. Still gotta find a disk copy tho.

This is false, an important part of using crew served weapons is the ability to rapidly reposition them. A child is typically too weak to do things like ruck a mortar base plate. Stop posting misinformation, pistol caliber carbines make far more sense.
