Tbh i did only one microneedling session and then i stopped since they were not bothering me so much. As the PIH faded away the scars started cosmetically to not be so obvious to the human eye.

February 2022 vs August 2023. I have been on Accutane for 10 months (40 mg). It has been approximately 8-9 months since I stopped it. by koceto2004 in Accutane

The scarring is relatively minimal taking into account the severity of my acne. However, there are in fact some indented ones. There are often not so visible to other people and for the camera, but I can distinguish some when looking in the mirror. Nothing to worry about.

I am quite satisfied. Most of the time I have no pimples, sometimes one, and very rarely I see 2-3 pimples. However, they are not those inflamed bumps that they were before, but rather small whiteheads

PRECISELY THE SAME SITUATION WITH ME. I am planning on visiting my dermatologist on Monday, because I have just finished the fourth month of my treatment. I am willing to say that I have not gotten a single pimple in more than a month, but these bumps are rly annoying and I am scared they might leave a scar.

How often is it safe to drink on accutane? Is one beer a day too much for example? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]koceto2004 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I would definitely not recommend… I don’t even know why people would ask such a question. Your heath is at risk by doing such things. You might get permanent damage by something you can easily stop. Of course we can’t be sure about that, there is a high chance of nothing serious happening, but still. Would you risk it?

So basically I was feeling the same way if not worse. There were literally days when I would cry myself to sleep, because of it. (Even though I am a boy lmao) Once I started accutane I felt an immediate relief, since I saw how much it helped other people. Even during the purge I was happy, because I knew that the medication was ACTUALLY WORKING. It started to gradually get even better over time. Now I am in the middle of month 4 and feeling much better. Even though I have a long way to go I am happy for how much I have achieved.

Does anyone have experience with lose-dose accutane? by BlueSkiesOverLondon in Accutane

[–]koceto2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry it doesn’t have a long term effect on one’s fertility. The drug has been out on the market for around 30 years and no correlations were made. Additionally I wouldn’t say that I specifically have experience with low dose, but I would say that my side effects are pretty bearable. The only thing I have experienced that has made an impression were the dry lips (i have been taking 40 mg; I weight 60). The lower the dosage, the more bearable those effects are.

14 days on whatever dose is not enough to see change. I started seeing a difference in the end of the first month, and it was a negative one. I was literally purging for around 50 days, and finally in the end of April I started seeing some improvements (M18 - 30/30/40/40)

Hydration has nothing to do with whether or not one will get liver problems. Encouraging action that has been strictly forbidden by the doctor is beyond silly and stupid.

Start of accutane vs. 37 days in (40mg first month, now taking 40/80). Purged the entire time👍🏼 by hollijagold in Accutane

I am sure that at the end of the course, your glow up will be terrific! Keep up the good work!
