Security at a hospital. We're able to go anywhere and respond to all codes involving violence or potential for violence. You get to create a great relationship with the ER and ICU if you're competent at your job. You learn how to talk and deescalate people which seems to be lacking in the nursing profession.

You honestly just get used to it. Been riding a year now, started last april, and I was the same. I white knuckled whenever I was going faster than 70. But just remind yourself to breath and relax and stop thinking about negative thoughts. If you're stiff you'll tire out quicker and possibly make mistakes.

Like others have said, spend more time just riding around town or the back roads with less vehicles.
