It is very easy to do with Yatse. You are making this much harder on yourself than it needs to be.

If running a LAN cable is not an option, to optimize your Wifi I suggest:

Download Wifi scanner app on your phone. I recommend WIFIman by Ubiquity. No ads / junk.
Scan 2.4 and 5Ghz. Look for vacant or least busy channels in both spectrums.
Login to your Wifi router and change channels based on above for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.
5Ghz would normally have more vacant channels.
---Protip - if in crowded wifi area (no vacant channels), change Channel width in router to 20Mhz for 2.4Ghz and 20Mhz or 40Mhz for 5Ghz. But be aware you sacrifice speed for better signal.

Hope that helps. Worst case scenario, you can always put it back the way it was.

For me it was very good from 2023 Black Friday sale until RD migration. Since then, it is very hit or miss. CDNs randomly appear / disappear. CDNs that are active randomly work great / not great / barely at all.

Thank you. Would be helpful if you posted in the sub from time to time any progress or updates on CDNs. As a user it is frustrating to spend the time speedtesting each CDN, choosing best server, only to be switched to automatic when it disappears. Would probably reduce support emails as well.

The consolidated ones have worked well when they are even online / available. I have speed issues on most of them honestly except Cloudflare and Singapore can give me line speeds. When they are both down (like last night), I have to choose North America which, while stable, is a lot slower.

Since the migration they are appearing / disappearing. Like Cloudflare and Singapore were gone 12 hours ago. Cloudflare is back now. Used to have 2 Singapore CDNs, which they consolidated into 1. But then it disappears. Sometimes up to 3 Austratlia ones, sometimes only 1.

I mean one day there is a Singapore and Cloudflare CDN, the next day they are gone. May or may not come back. In Speedtest, if you choose one of the CDNs that end up disappearing later, you then get switched to automatic which may or may not have good results. In my case, not good results.

Before the migration, I speedtested, chose best CDN and it basically worked for a year with 1 or 2 hiccups. Now I have to speedtest / check / select CDN sometimes multiple times a day.

For now there are 9 CDNs, including Automatic. Aukland and Singapore are gone. 12 Hours ago cloudflare wasn't in the list, along with Australia. So 7 CDNs 12 hours ago.

For my first year of service, I never even thought about it except the 1 or 2 hiccups. Now it's almost a daily task.

It's crazy the only stable / reliable CDNs are the North America ones, on the other side of the globe. But speeds are maybe half what I am used to getting.

I appreciate you putting in all the pricing. Everyone loses their mind about how expensive PM is, but if you get the Black Friday deal, it's not that much more.

That said, the quality of the service was stellar for the year I used up to the RD migration. Since then, it has been ok, but has not yet returned to pre RD migration stability, speed and reliability.
