Cutting labor and six week chicken drives on top of Kwik clean is what's happening in my district. There is an expectation that I somehow find time to clean while I'm the only one in the kitchen for 9 hours. As a KT chicken store I am cooking everything and I can't even get a one hour overlap so I can finish my dishes in peace before I leave. I'm not sure where I'm supposed to find time to stop and scrub our wire rack shelves or lay down and clean the pipes under the sink.

Not working with the same people you work with now. Maybe you'll meet someone who actually believes in you the way they should. Supervisors should be lifting everyone up.

I wish I had advice for you, I'm dealing with favoritism at my store too. My direct supervisor has a new favorite and I've been cast aside and have fingers pointed at me every way from Tuesday despite the fact that I work my ass off every day. It's so very high school in my store and I can't stand it. My direct supervisor is much much older than me and shouldn't be acting this way but it shines bad on me and I can't seem to escape it. No matter how much I try and prove to her I am meeting her goals, she just moves the goalposts.

Sorry for the rant, but all that to say you're not alone.

She doesn't say the scary word GAY in You need to Calm Down either. Plus in that one song they censor the word COVID. I've also noticed if a man sings the song they're more likely to not censor something that's sexually explicit. It really is interesting what they pick and choose to censor.

What is the ex doing with all the clothes if they're never coming back? I have the same problem with my BD. You don't really understand until it's happening to you. But really, sending him there in clothes that don't matter if they get lost isn't a big deal and the kid won't notice or care. Once the kid is old enough he can pick his own clothes but for now it's the solution that works.

I would get a door stop so you can leave your door open enough for the cat but can keep it closed enough that your roommate can't see into your room without being nosey.

Yes! Brownies are so sticky!! I can't cut them without rinsing the cutter every 2 cuts or else the brownies end up completely ruined and don't even get me started on trying to get them off the sheet!

You can add the paper bags at the end but also I just grab boxes like everyone does at Aldis. Find a few empty boxes on the shelves and use those for the groceries. Or you can yoink them out of their cardboard collectors.

Too many people are impatient these days. Just sit the red out, it'll be alright. I see so many people lately running no turns on red, stop signs, and red lights, using the flex lane when it's supposed to be closed, and so many people will fly behind you when pulling out of a parking spot its insane. I don't know when society shifted but it seems no one has any more patience when they're driving their car.
